Preparation

Another collection of random pictures from where ever. With entertaining comments to keep you um... entertained.

How odd is this shirt. It's funny at first, but after you think about it, it's like a depressing revelation about how society in general seems to push people apart. Unless you are one of those Alaska wilderness frontier people. I guess this shirt is for them.

FINALLY! Call of Duty: WWII gives you "care packages" with random things, for completing challenges. You can usually get a few each day you play. After seeing this Gemini Calling Card, which is the image under your name when the other players look at you, my friend thought "That would be cool to get."... and that was several years ago. This became a fun thing to wish for every time he opened a care package, and over time, it became a little crazy. It's something to point out the massive amount of items available in these care packages that it took so long to randomly get this "common" item!

$25 for this section? How many of these do you need to make a whole Halo? Do we all remember Halo? The game took place inside a giant space ring.

Lego does the Mario minifig packs with build-able enemies. Yep, Lego has got Nintendo sets now. It's fun to point out that in Lego, you can build whatever you want. So you could have already had Mario Lego sets for yourself. Kinda.

My friend was telling us stories of delivery pizza and we realized it had been a long long time since we've had pizza from "a place." Yes yes yes, we ALL KNOW it's not as good as "New York Pizza" but it's still good. It was so good that I'm willing to admit it was Dominoes. Yep. Dominoes had good pizza. YES! I know! "Not as good AS NEW YORK PIZZA!" Uh..., those New York Pizza people. Every time you mention good pizza you gotta have this conversation.

Who would have thought that Snoopy would make for good canvas material? Is this like, tattoos?

Made a special trip out to the Lego Store to get the free set, but they were sold out of the qualifying set. My friend admits it was kinda his fault for not calling ahead. The employees gave him no other option to get the free set, and then kicked him out of the store to take a break. All kinds of disrespect from the Lego Store at Freehold Mall.

This Lego mosaic picture is just all kinds of inspiring. Like, what kind of photo do you want to do? Zoom in on the box, and it says something about a soundtrack? That's an odd thing for a Lego set.

We did pick up the Mario set at Walmart. He's got electronics inside him that make noises and senses when he stomps on bad guys and stuff. His mouth and eyes are screens that change and stuff. Not quite Lego and not quite a Mario game, but something awesome in the middle of that.

Saw this new toy line at a Walmart. Looks like spray paint cans and graffiti? What are they selling to kids? If only one wall at any school anywhere gets graffiti-tagged from this influence... wow, do you think the creators will be like "YEAH!" or like "Uhhh... y'know, maybe we didn't think this through enough..."

When we glanced over at this magazine in this holder that says "Battle for Bikini Bottom" and saw Wonder Woman, my friend laughed and thought... that's surely a battle you will lose.

Saw these adorable tiny Play-doh figures. Build houses for them. That's a neat idea. They are small enough for you to "Godzilla" the town when you feel like it.

Fornite: recently banned on the Apple devices for figuring out how to bypass the app store's pay-to-play protocols. While we're not overly impressed with the actual gameplay of Fortnite, the character designs are amazing. Here's figures for a Red Riding Hood named Fable and a Big Bad Wolf named Dire.

Go Bigfoot! You tha' CHAMP! Loch Ness Monster should get one of these, too.

Got a laugh out of the audacity of this GIANT Spaghettios can to have the text "Healthy Kids Entree" on it. This can is huge! No way it's healthy for your kid to eat all this.

How is it that I find the generic-brand name cooler? Magic Treasures just sounds cooler than Lucky Charms. It might be a fun game to try to figure out what those marshmallow treasure shapes are.

Took a trip out to Ollie's which is kind of a drive for us, but not too far away. If you are wondering where Ollie's gets it's merchandise, it's apparently from the year of the Fidget Spinner. Remember those from a few years ago, and everypony had to have one?

My friend got this game but never had an opportunity to play it. It won some awards or something and the character designs are cute. But also, seeing it reminded him of a different life he had for a while.

How funny is this? This cheered up my friend immediately with this outrageous re-wording of Dungeons & Dragons to Gargoyles & Gravel. Complete with "Gravel Master's Handbook". Hahaha. The "&" is even a twisted-up gargoyle like the D&D uses a twisted-up dragon. That elf has a baseball bat! Hahaha they never played baseball! How many other funny things are in this picture?

When did Wonder Woman have a pet kangaroo? Now I want to know all about whoever Jumpa is.

I have a friend who is into the whole Dia de Los Meurtos candy skull stuff. We saw this cute figure and were about to tell them to check their local Ollie's for it, and then just decided, eh, it's only $3 we'll just pick it up for them. So if you're reading this, we'll get it to you when we can. Hmm... maybe we should have just told them, that might take a while.

You have an idea for a board game!? But you don't strike me as a motivated sales person, and this will probably wind up discounted at an Ollie's store, and for those reasons, I'm out.

Playmobil picture book about history. Playmobil is not quite like Lego, you can't just build whatever you want, but they still have a lot of cool historical sets.

All of a sudden I get some fun ideas about new methods for giving our neighborhood squirrels some treats.

Ollie's does have a unique quirkiness to their promotions. They don't take themselves too seriously in a fun way. See them admit that their store looks like a war zone.
