2019 Toy Fair Super Tricks

Still have a few more batches of pictures from the 2019 New York Toy Fair. It does seem like the actual fair was a while ago, but I don't think I'm a news blog, more of a sharing fun things blog. So an apology if you couldn't wait to see anything I pictured. This bunch of pictures is mostly Comic Book heroes and such.

Nendoroid Loki! Would we all love this character as much if not for Tom Hiddleston's wonderful acting in the role? The character is quite a um... character. Tom Hiddleston is just acting, right? Because he's so good you might actually think he's tricking us and really IS Loki. There's some Avengers back there, we might just be okay.

Mooooore Toy Fair

Sorry for the delay in posts. I thought we had scheduled content to auto-post but I guess I forgot which day it stopped on... We still have a few more batches of pictures from the Toy Fair. This is a bunch we couldn't fit into any of the groups, so it's going to be a fun mix.

C'mon Jurassic Park! There's a dinosaur called Diabloceratops, and you haven't had that in a movie yet? Paint it up a nice dark red, and you'll sell a bunch of toys of that!

Toy Fair 2019 Super 7

Back to the 2019 New York Toy Fair! I mean, back to the pictures. There's a company called Super 7 and they had a small booth, but we managed to get a bunch of cool pictures from there. Enough to separate them into their own posting. Let's see what they got!

I'm not sure if this mummy is supposed to be from anything in particular. It was standing on a giant base which we cropped-out of the photo. Oops! It says Super 7 that's probably important for them.

Shopping Break

I figured we'd take a break from the Toy Fair pictures to show some pictures we took after the Toy Fair, when we wandered into the city to do a bit of shopping. So yeah these are going to seem like more of the same somehow, but I guess it's different? We were a little tired and the bag of catalogs from the show was heavy, but we're in the city, so lets walk around some.

We looked for them at the show, but Rilakkuma did not have a booth this year. Our heavy bag might have been a little more comfy to carry in this tote we saw. Could you imagine carrying this thing around? My friend was worried he couldn't get away with that type of fashion statement.

Toy Fair 2019 Films and Stuff

Still grinding out the pictures from the 2019 New York Toy Fair. This bunch is from various TV shows and Movies and stuff. So be a couch potato and binge-watch some pictures.

Yo Joe! Is it wrong that the name of the group is "G.I.Joe" but they have girls? Is that kind of like girls now being allowed in the Boy Scouts? Also, my friend pointed out that The Baroness artwork back there has the G.I.Joe logo on it, but clearly she was in Cobra.

Brick It, More New York Toy Fair 2019

Here's a bunch of pictures from the 2019 New York Toy Fair all about the blocks! It's still a little odd that other companies "get away with" copying Lego blocks. We all KNOW they are "Legos" it seems more than a little unfair. To their credit, Lego has remained the popular brand and the copiers are almost unnoticed. Except by Minty, because we got pictures to share.

Emmet! From the new Lego Movie 2. Also, does anypony recognize the person on the left? She has like a professional looking camera guy and everything. Did I just get a bonus celebrity picture?

Toy Fair 2019 Playmobil

I know we've been posting a lot of pictures from the 2019 New York Toy Fair, at a pace a little quicker than usual. So if you missed anything, y'know you can go back to check out the ones you've missed. Playmobil let us into their booth this year so let's see what's there!

These were blank figures meant to mark some special, possible spoiler, set from the How to Train Your Dragon 3 movie. We asked if they sold just these cool plain white figures and they laughed and said no.

2019 New York Toy Fair Anime

Continuing our pictures from the 2019 New York Toy Fair with a bunch from Anime. So there's a good chance you won't be too familiar with these characters, or you'll be super excited to see a show you know.

Here's Megumin from the show Konosuba. The show is a comedy about a world like a classic role playing video game, and Megumin puts all of her experience points into "Explosion Magic" only. So she gets one enormous nuclear-sized Explosion Spell per day but is otherwise completely useless.

2019 New York Toy Fair Little Pony

Another quick group of pictures from the 2019 New York Toy Fair. There was enough "Pony" pictures to group them all together.

Here's anime-conversion figures of Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle from Kotobukiya. Is it odd that the coolest looking My Little Pony figures wind up being anime versions? Some pony fans might be upset to hear me say that. But look, they have real ponies next to them.

New York Toy Fair 2019 Video Games

More pictures from the 2019 New York Toy Fair! This group is merchandise from various video games. Remember when that used to cost you a quarter to play?

I'm going to give a special mention to http://www.pyramidamerica.com/ and the cool guys that worked the booth. You see, we don't actually have a "Press" badge, and some companies are nervous about "spies" stealing ideas. So it's always a little nervous dance when we ask if we can take pictures for our harmless blog. We had been denied pictures a few times already, and although we get plenty to post anyway it still is a little hurtful. So the Pyramid America guys almost didn't let us in, but did. And at that moment we were cheered up quite a bit by it. So here's a picture of one of the coolest things we saw at the show. And I'm not just saying that to be extra nice, this Boss Key doormat is perfect for any Zelda fan.
