Tiny Horse

Yet more rando pictures. Enjoy the fun comments!

Timothée Chalamet on Saturday Night Live. There was a personally mind-blowing sketch where he sang a song about his Tiny Horse. As someone who regularly carries around an actual tiny horse in his pocket, my friend was stunned by the whole thing.

It was a very funny skit, too! This Tiny Horse is Minty's new hero! If only I could have such a remarkable adventure!

The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon?! I'm so jealous of Tiny Horse! Did they get this idea from Minty? Surely that's just a coincidence. Let the record show that I've been tiny-horsing-around for years before this skit aired!

I feel sad for whoever needs to buy this. Like, who needs a constant in-your-face reminder for this? Wouldn't seeing this every time you go in the bathroom feel like a condescending insult? What was that thing I'm supposed to do? Oh.. yeah! BRUSH MY TEETH! Thanks, cup! I totally would have forgotten without you.

I like how this night shirt implies that they are offline only because they are sleeping. It's deep social commentary, right?

Why do I find it funny to see frozen Frozen things? I just got a funny thought; to put all Frozen merchandise in the freezer. Everything Frozen can be frozen! Hahaha

A rare December cricket in the bathroom. It's kinda big, too. We don't get as many of them as we used to, since we figured out where they were coming from and plugged the holes, but they still sneak in somehow.

Ugh. Dairy Queen, too? Don't they know it's silly to say "Frozen Hot Chocolate"? How can it be both "frozen" and "hot"? Is that part of the bit? It's so silly, but we are doing it on purpose, so it's okay.

You might need to look for it, but there is a birdie in that bish over there. It was keeping us company in this drive thru line. I wish we had some treats to give it, but we were still waiting for the food. Does this bird not know how a drive thru works?

What a clever idea for the Fate: Grand Order game people to make their characters based on historical figures. So now I can see unrelated historical things and they are now connected to the game. Go ahead and Google "Katsushika Hokusai" and see if you can spot the game character among the actual artist's artwork image results.

In the Barnes and Noble, and see the much-cooler (pun intended?) six-foot-distance-markers on the ground. Go humanity! To make "art" out of something like this. How long before every place has more artistic dots to stand on?

That IS the same bear from the random non-licensed home décor section at Target, right? Now in a random stick puzzle thing at a Barnes and Noble. Hmmm, that's a few "art" pictures in a row. Good to see this person is trying to spread their simple bear design around, as much as they can. It's kind of encouraging.

Speaking of "art"... this random swirly pattern on that dice looks a little bit like... well,... I'm not going to say it! [blushes]

What's more funny here: That they want $5 for a rock, or that the package says "collect them all!"? There are rocks right outside, y'know. Like, on the ground. For free. Though I really doubt you could actually collect them ALL.

Would this be the most you could spend on ONE Lego minifigure? One special Orange Classic Space Minifigure for $40. Includes a book!

Pink sunset! I would have liked to have had a non-parking lot bottom to this picture, but by the time we had driven to such a place, this picture might not have been so pink.

Hahaha yes we did pick up that awful dice set. Because the random pattern was too coincidental to leave without. It's clever to say that seriously, this is funny.

I remembered we got a Hot Wheels car several years ago because I thought the business name "Pepop & Sons" was funny sounding for a Plumbing company. So it was extra funny to see this new Pepop & Sons... Pest Control van! Did plumbing not work for them? Looks like the same Pepop guy, is he a thing? Is there other Pepop & Sons stuff?

I forgot to post this one with the snow pictures, but here's the story: When you "dig out" your car from the snow, you are always worried that somebody else will "steal" your spot by the time you get home. It's typically accepted curtesy that everybody recognizes that someone did labor to clear the space, and leave it be for them. But often there are people oblivious to that social rule, and simply think "Cool! A clear spot!" Well, our car was so perfectly snug right up to the sides in our spot, and all the other cars were the monster huge SUV types, that we left and re-parked in the same spot for 4 or 5 days in a row. And we nailed the back-ins each time. There was not even a full inch to either side of the car!

Our friend from far away, who we have not seen for a long time thanks to the Covid nonsense, sent us some Texas Roadhouse steaks as a Xmas present! That restaurant is our go-to spot whenever we visit, so this was an awesome surprise. Everybody we tell this story to likes it a lot, so we hope you like it too.

Cloudy skies gave us no view of the planetary Convergence of Jupiter and Saturn, which should have been visible to the left of the moon up there. Did anybody do any magic spells or anything that night? The next time this will happen is like... 2080?

I thought it would be funny to show a post-Xmas view of the Lego aisle in a Target store. Looks like every kid everywhere got a Lego set for Xmas!

They still did an Xmas party at work again this year! Those tables don't look very social-distanced, but the wide open area is about as close to being "outside" as you could probably get inside a building.

We took our free Xmas meal upstairs far away from the gathering. Because of y'know... social distancing. We weren't trying to be ungrateful or rude. This was "Peruvian" food which looked like roast chicken and fried rice. The green sauce was like a cucumber-something and was really good.

Forgot to include the Ferrero Rocher chocolate ball in the picture of the free food. Fun fact; these are only expensive because of the perceived higher-value that price generates. Or so I read on the internet... somewhere... here, perhaps? That's you now! Also, it felt really weird eating lunch at work and... NOT wearing a mask.
