The Cool House

Every Saturday we drive our friend to work. Part of the trip takes us through a neighborhood full of "rich people" houses, you know the type. This particular house was always the "coolest" looking of the bunch, and every other time we would comment "That house looks so cool!" or something. Imagine our surprise when one particular weekend, we spotted "Estate Sale" signs outside! A non-creepy excuse to wander around the cool house and take pictures! Sold!

There's not really ONE picture that captures how cool this house is. Good thing I took a bunch of them!

The first batch of pictures is of the house itself, next time will be all the treasures inside? So click on the "Read more" below for the cool house!

Can't believe it's THIS house and not like, next door or down the street.

Approaching the house!

To the left of the house is like a valley with an overgrown lawn. could use some work?

Trying to get a good picture of the house but it's too big.

To the right is like a whole 'nother house attached to the side of the house!

Down to the left is the garages down there.

Inside the house looking out the back window. Not much of a back yard.

Plants attacking the back of the house!

Old radiator heating and the paint all peeling around everything.

Blue tiles in the bathroom?

Two toilets? Haha. The real thing that will creep you out is, where is the toilet seat? You know, the ring thing you sit on?

Getting closer to the garages.

There was a basement in the garage but barricades would not let us explore down there.

Around the left side of the house, this was the trail leading to the side yard valley.

Oh yeah, completely taken over by the plants. Not going that way!

Three stories? Doesn't look TOO haunted-able.

Here's the nice side-house thing. I'd be happy with just this part?

Gazebo of course.

From the right side. There's another house below it in this picture.

Another attempt at getting the whole house in one picture. Anypony got a helicopter or something?

Most houses in this neighborhood don't have a yard anywhere near as big as this one does. That's part of what makes it the coolest.

Another shot of the valley. What are we going to put out here?

Next time, going inside! The entrance could use some paint?
