Grogu's Wild

Pictures with comments. This is the way.

Uno with Grogu on every card! What I find particularly amusing is the meme photo editing of the Uno card in place of the soup cup. In the episode Grogu walks up to the fight casually holding a soup cup, and there are countless edits of him holding something else. An official product with the meme edit? Fun.

Ah-yup. That duck is CHILLIN'! Buy it or not, whatever. Who's got the remote?

This is so ridiculously simple and briliant. I bet somebody figured this out long before they packaged it with the suggestion.

Looking at the obvious Dance Dance Revolution arcade machine in this Lego set, wondering if Konami gets any money for this type of thing. I mean, it's got the arrows going up the screen, it's obviously their game. I'm a gamer geek, so I recognize the sunset on the racing game is likely Sega's Outrun. Lego does sets for Sonic the Hedgehog, so maybe it's okay for them to use Outrun.

Baby Peach! I've never noticed this before, but Baby Peach, with the pacifier always in her mouth and blonde hair, is rocking serious Maggie Simpson vibes. [suck-suck noises]

Castiel! Actually this is Harvey Dent, not-yet-Two Face, on the new Gotham Knights TV series. It's fun to see actors from shows you like on other shows. He's doing a good job in this role, and the show is watch-able so far. It's always weird for new "super hero" shows to figure out how serious or silly they can go with the powers and such. Several episodes in and I'm not sure. It's kind of serious for the most part but they've snuck in a couple of nonsense things.

This giant ad for the movie looks like it could be an ad for that necklace. It's been an important plot device in a few of these Fast and Furious movies, why don't they sell merchandise of it? It's got to be available somewhere, you think?

Shazam 2 was perfectly fine. Every bit of the movie is based on "magic" which they never explain, and never have to, because... it's magic!

Another late photo, it was St. Patrick's Day so I hope you also had a Shamrock Shake. It's fun to get excited over silly things like this.

Back in High School, my friend worked at McDonald's, and he drew a bunch of comics showing the original mascot slacking off around the restaurant. He hid these around the back rooms for other employees to stumble across, and re-named the character... Slackee! Ah, good memories.

This plush puppy has a snake skin pattern. So, is it a puppy or a snake? It's cute, whichever it is.

Is that a Garfield suction-cupped to the window?! So retro! There was a time when those were very common to see, but it's been a while since I've seen one. Cool.

Society really needs to invent a new term for everybody-restroom. This sign illustrates how out-of-control it is right now. I find it extra funny that there's a Unicorn on that sign, so close enough for this little pony to use!

It's a little sloppy seeing it spelled-out (is "spell" a pun here?) but D&Tea sounds a lot like D&D, and I think it's clever enough. Selling themed tea to role players in the hobby shop? Also kind of clever.

Saw the books before the movie released and wondered if there were tons of spoilers in them. I guess there have been actual Dungeons & Dragons books available already, for decades, so.... how much spoilers do you want?

Sigh. I know they had good intentions here, but I can't help but feel sad while looking at this. I hope your book doesn't "catfish" you.

What kind of ninja magic created Naruto Playmobil figures? For anybody who is not familiar with anime at all, wondering if this Naruto show is as good as people say, here's a great example. They made Playmobil sets for it. Of all anime they could have done, they went with Naruto. Because it's good, obviously.

There's a fun title for a book. It implies you could actually survive a black hole? I am seriously curious how.

Somebody asked what we were having for dinner and we got a picture, so now I'm sharing it with you, too! Chicken strips and jalapenos with rice and butter. Yum. We always seem to over-do it with the portion size, but it's good enough to eat slowly while watching a movie. I forgot what movie we were watching.

Another late-posting, as this is no longer available around here. But how excited were we that KFC brought back the ridiculous Double Down "sandwich"? I notice the commercial says the full "Kentucky Fried Chicken" instead of KFC, as well as the phrase "finger lickin' good". They tried to hide the word "fried" with the abbreviation, and got rid of "finger lickin'" when Covid scared everyone with germ transferring. It's oddly kind of nice to see those words making a comeback.

The very next day we got one. I had forgotten how MUCH this was. It's like eating two giant sandwiches. Make sure you're very hungry before you order one!

Hahaha! Get it? Okay I'll help. The Star Wars language text translates as "Plo's Bros" with the picture of Jedi Master Plo Koon. It's funny that it's such a slang type of term to use, on a Star Wars ship.

I know those are supposed to be "eggs" but it also could be poop, so yeah. Poop humor. Is that a typo on the package? Squeeze Pooper?

They made a Marvel "What if..." thing where the Wakanda vibranium meteor fell in North America instead of Africa. So this is like, the Native American version of Black Panther. Also, these figures come in soda cans, so you um... keep them in the fridge?

Hey! Aquaman is in the new Fast and Furious movie! That guy will always be Aquaman, in whatever he does ever again. Maybe if he got a haircut?

No need to tell you, it's a John Wick movie. Of course it was amazing. At this point, you know what to expect, and this movie is exactly what you expect it to be. A lot of it.

Well here's an unexpected promotion. Magic: The Gathering and Hot Pockets. It's for the online version of the game, so there's no real cards in the freezer section packages. Do you need to tap red mana to cook these?

$150 for all 15 Seasons of Supernatural. Sounds like a great deal, actually. I mean, the show was on the air for a full 15 years, of course it was great.

What is this? Not only is there a game called Goat Simulator, but this is Goat Simulator... "3"?! Were the first two Goat Simulator games that good? Did I switch to a different dimension somehow?
