Empty Stadium Touchdown

During a summer bike ride, we wandered into the football stadium for the Princeton Campus. Of course we had to get some pictures!

I wonder if there are any smart ponies on this campus who could tell what time it is based on the shadows of the railing? Probably!

Did we score a touchdown? Click on the "Read more" below to find out!

There were a few people around but it was almost totally empty. Almost expected some Walkers to start creeping out?

It seemed in excellent shape to have been here since 1914. Probably been renovated recently.

I bet they wouldn't let bikes up here during a real game. Had to get a picture of the bike for proof we rode up here.

Behind the stadium is the racing track. Plenty of afternoon left to find a way down to check that out.

Looking for the track entrance, we found our way onto the actual football field! There were other people already wandering around on it.

I think this is called Astroturf? Not real grass it's like plastic or something.

The Princeton mascot is a Tiger. Grrrrrrrrreat! Oh, that's cereal?

Of course we had to get right in the corner for a TOUCHDOWN! Haha taking pictures like this is both silly and awesome.

Made our way to that track and rode around it four times to verify it was a mile. Big 'ole stadium in this picture's background.

Big metal tiger in front of the stadium! Those teeth look sharp.

Does this transform into a robot? Looks like it could, where are those smart kids at to make that happen?
