Virginia Thanks

We went to Virginia to have Thanksgiving with the family, so we got some pictures, too!

Here's the King Neptune statue that let's you know just where you are, Virginia Beach, Virginia. I don't want to over-hype this guy, it's not like Statue of Liberty-sized or anything. But he's still plenty cool and running up and touching it is the thing to do here!

Click on the "Read more" below for more!

Our friend has this old refrigerator magnet that speaks the Disney Monorail "Please stand clear of the closing doors" and again in Spanish. Still works! And by "works" I mean it makes us happy to hear it.

Forgot to take the picture of the Fuddrucker's lunch, but we also had Texas Roadhouse for dinner. So that was an epic good-eating day!

There was an Arby's lunch another day. Gotta dip this sandwich in the JUICE! Why don't more places have dip-able sandwiches? Mmmm, gotta have the juice!

Stopped by to see the seals at the Virginia Aquarium. They're outside so all you need to do is park and watch 'em frolic.

Seeing these seals is a little like visiting old friends? Is that weird? I don't think they recognize US.

We tried to take so many pictures but they are mostly blurs those guys are moving around so much! Here's a good picture of them um, kissing? Aw!

These are actual Seals not Navy SEALS those are different. See ya later!

I guess Sundays have free parking on account of the meters being covered up? Thought we'd get this picture as proof that we tried to pay anyway since we didn't know for sure.

Hey we saw these guys at the Outer Banks in North Carolina! Now they have a store here, too!

Duck Donuts is also from the OBX. So where are we again?

Here's the plaque at the Neptune Statue! So read about it if you want?

Boardwalk! Three miles of fun in this direction!

Nice moon picture with a super hero flying by. Oh, that's probably a plane?

Sunset time, which is why we got such a beautiful horizon over there.

Nothing like putting your hooves in the sand! It was a little cold outside but I did it anyway.

Crashing waves is a nice calming sound effect.

Texas Roadhouse... again? This "See ya tomorrow" sign wasn't kidding. When asked if you want to go to Texas Roadhouse, the answer is always YES, even if you went there the night before like we did. It's THAT good!

On the trip back north we got a chance to snap a picture of this place while stopped at a light. As fans of the Vampire Diaries TV show, our favorite character was named Damon. And even though this restaurant has been closed for YEARS it's somehow still here? And it always is a little comforting to see it still there even if we never got a chance to eat there. We're sure it would have been quite the event.
