Trippin' Time

Mini-vacation time! Just visiting the fam' in Virginia so it's also a good time to take a few pictures to share.

Here's a fun picture that fans of the show Supernatural will laugh at. We are pretty happy we were able to get a picture of it. Sorry if you are not "in on the joke" but it would take too long to explain why this is so awesomely funny.

Click on the "Read more" below for more fun pictures of the trip.

Stopped at this light on the road that's the border for Maryland and Delaware. This little town of Delmar is in both states! That must really suck for them when they do their taxes?

We were stuck underwater in the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. We could see the flashing lights in front of this van but couldn't see around it. Eventually we were let around a fender-bender but couldn't really get any pictures of that while driving past it.

Ugh. Here's the local comic shop. They've been here a long time but have recently been in the habit of packing up half the store to travel to conventions during the summer. Luck us, we heard there were actually TWO this weekend.

It's a little disappointing to see half the store gone. This is a favorite treasure-hunting spot. It's all good, the other half of the store still has some treasures maybe.

Here's some cool stuff. We are still on the lookout for the Cheetah from this old series, but it was fun to see these here even if they weren't the one we were hunting for.

Who needs a shopping cart with a Toys R Us logo on it? Only $35! What kind of collector item will this be? Hey you know the kids love to ride these around the parking lot, now they can do it at home in the driveway?

Is it fun to point out that this is the doll they used for the Robot Chicken skits where they re-named her to "Bitch Pudding?" Go look it up, laugh, and then kind-of want one for yourself. BLAM!

This kind of cuteness gets a picture. I honestly can't think of anything more "comfy" right now.

On our way out of the theatre, we saw the new Star Wars Solo movie, caught some kind of maintenance screen on one of those multi-soda machines. We were tempted to press a bunch of buttons like idiots but decided not to.

Our friend got a new Toyota Highlander! Do these cars go around hunting each other; in the end there can be only one? Not that type of Highlander?

We know it's a Highlander because it projects the name on the ground next to the car? Is that awesome? We guess so?

Carvel Ice Cream Cake! Minty got the "D." Why does that make you giggle? Minty likes the D. Stop giggling!

Yum Fuddruckers. Notice the equal portions of cheese and jalapenos and fries. If it were possible to continuously eat these forever I wonder how many years it would take to not want any more, if that would even happen?

At another Toys R Us sale hunt, our friend mentioned she was on a bowling team, so technically she could climb this ladder if she wanted to.

Check out this plant with the rain water still in it. The kind of thing we catch and think "That would make a cool picture."

There are other landmarks we pass that always make us smile, but somehow always get stopped at the light next to this place that reminds us of the Vampire Diaries. Looks like the type of place a vampire would own.
