Last New Hope for now

One more bunch of pictures from our afternoon walking around new hope.

Are those red lights on the trees over there part of Halloween decorations? You can see them reflected in the water. We didn't really want to wait until sunset to see how cool they would have looked.

Click on the "Read more" for a few more pictures.

There's a beef jerky shop. We've been in a few of these before. Not sure if we've seen Shark Jerky yet. What happened to Shark Week? After thinking about this for a few seconds it's not cool, right?

We saw this awesome car stuck in the bumper-to-bumper traffic around here. We didn't really feel like it was necessary to get a picture of it, but everypony else was. So we changed our minds. I'll note that it looks like it could transform into a robot at any moment.

The big "mall" type of shopping center had transformed into a giant multi-restaurant cafeteria. We ate before we got here but next time we'll try out something here for sure.

The ice cream shop is called "Moo Hope." This is more general Fall type of decoration, not really Halloween like everything else was.

Down this alley is the good bakery shop. I'll point out the "Cigar Store Indian" carving on the corner there. Should that be considered offensive yet? We did not get a picture of the back of it, but he's wearing a thong. That was certainly offensive.

We could have gone for a sweet treat at this point, but that place was wall-to-wall people in there! So it was cool to see the secret shop was flourishing, but we were not going to wait for a snack.

Here's the sign, if you want to get internet help finding the secret location of the C'est La Vie French Bakery Cafe. It's busy for a reason; it's some good stuff.

Muppets Beaker scarecrow. That's definitely not typical. Do they need that sign to point that out?

We ventured to the right side of the bridge and found some new spots. There's a lot going on in this picture. First you'll notice the Red Bull car. It's parked in from of a... toy store? So we'll go in there in a bit. Also, that Police Officer was giving some poor car a ticket.

We'll get to the toy store in a bit, because this side of the street has a comic shop!

It wasn't that big of a shop, but they had their own t-shirts. This Halloween decoration is wearing one.

Hey, what's in this alien egg in the corner? Keep my mouth closed for why exactly?

Let's see if my friend, who resembles this Star Trek character, notices we posted a picture of it. Does she even remember this episode where Worf and Alexander were on the holodeck ancient west simulation? She's the "Mysterious Stranger."

Back to the toy shoppe. Here's a familiar guy. Where have we seen him before?

They had a massive amount of Melissa and Doug toys. That T-Rex over there is super big!

There was a jazz band of some kind up there. Not sure if it was just a display or you could get a collection going. Y'know, if you were into jazz.

My friend almost got this Gund official Harley Quinn bear because he thought it was funny it had such sexy legs. But then he thought that was a little creepy to have such sexy legs and felt uncomfortable about it.

We could have taken a ton more pictures of funny merchandise all throughout these shops. So why don't you come and visit yourself?

Taking another picture on the way back. A fellow tourist was having fun stepping back and forth saying "low taxes over here, high taxes over here!" Guess what side we live on... sigh.

Map of Lambertville. There's probably some cool stuff over here, too. But it was a Sunday so all the stores were closing about now.

One more fun picture outside some kind of health food shoppe. This guy has an electric car that's why he's "green." I guess he's also green.
