Nice Weekends

Back with another great weekend to go out riding the bike. Taking pictures to share helps us feel like we are not so alone on this activity we do all by ourselves.

This looked a little bigger outside the camera. But now that I see this picture, you might need to be told there's a banner over on that hill that says "Thank you to all essential workers!" That hill always reminds me of the big Gungan battle at the end of Star Wars Episode 1. Who mowed the hill in the movie?

This picture didn't come out all that great either, but there's fallen-tree mess all over there. Can I put this in my evil tree story somewhere? I can say "based on true events".

That broken tree we passed last week had fallen over. Is that because we took the picture, or just a coincidence?

We went down a road that we thought would connect to some neighborhoods, but instead got turned around by a office building gate. there was some deer there, we got their picture.

Zoomed in to see them, maybe you can or can't tell by this picture how massive they are. Look at those tiny heads! They freeze and you just know they are wondering if I see them or not.

The nearby shopping center had some kind of protest rally gathering. Hmm.. we thought... I don't remember ever seeing a protester riding a bike, as we ride our bike past.

Judging by all the loud reunion declarations; "HI NAME! OMG GREAT TO SEE YOU! OH!!! IT'S OTHER NAME, HI!!" people who haven't seen each other in months gathered.

My pictures are normally more up-beat and amusing, but no fun comment can go with this picture. Posting it because I saw it.

Back to lighter pictures... I don't remember when I took the picture of this building before, but they moved the door down to the ground level. There's still a wrong watch-your-step door on the right.

These power line towers are new and impressive. They used to be those spider-web looking square ones. There's a cell phone thing on top of this one.

We saw there's a door in the side of this bigger tower and day-dreamed about a secret underground lair. Those scientists wouldn't need to hide the power lines and could easily run lots of experiments down there.

Power Train! The power lines went waaaaayyyy into the distance! In both directions. These new towers must have been expensive, and there are so many of them!

The flowers on these bushes don't last very long. Get the picture while you can.

Okay I saw this and thought there must be something funny to say about "Autism Van Parking ONLY" but I also know that it is completely NOT okay to make that kind of joke. Might make me a terrible pony just to have made the connection. I'm not a terrible pony, am I?

Heard the train approaching and got the camera out in time! There was even enough time to sit me on the bridge to wait.

The camera said it was 3 seconds between the front and back of the train pictures. But this thing wooshed by so fast, that doesn't seem right.

We went into an office complex that we've never explored, in hopes of finding connecting paths to new places. Big 'ole pile of sand? Sure, let's get a picture of that.

This tree was not-so-subtly "pointing" in that direction. It was about as loud as a tree can get.

It was pointing at this office building. What's going on in there that this tree wants us to know about? Something bad happening to trees in there?

Global Product Testing? That sounds like either a great job, or a horrible job. Maybe we need to test it to find out which one.
