2018 New York Toy Fair part Trump

Do I get more page hits by using the word "Trump?" Like ponies randomly search for "Trump" and get here by accident? Sorry if you were looking for Trump stuff, this is just some pictures from the recent Toy Fair in New York. Why don't you stay and see if you like the pictures and comments?

One of the best things about the Toy Fair is checking out all the fresh "art" that may or may not make it to a store near you. These critters from Roooz Planet are oddly creative. Kids love this kind of craziness, right?

Click on the "Read more" below for more crazy pics!

These cuties give a whole different meaning to the term "cat food?"

I've been told this is old-tech but there was a fan with lights on it, and as it spun around it made a video. It was our friend Hatsune Miku dancing and was pretty impressive. It was hard to get a picture of it so this might not look as vibrant and clear as it actually was.

These tiny arcade cabinets were radical dude! Perfect for everypony's desk at work! Which brings up the point, why don't we have something like this for our desk at work?

I've always wanted to be on stage, and here I am! There's a stage tucked away in a back corner in the Javits Center but it's a quiet spot next to the cheaper booths so nopony would ever see any show back here.

We forgot to check out the actual Rilakuma booth but we still got a picture of these awesome glass clinger things. You can drink-in all his cuteness!

Cats always be gettin' all up in everything. Get outta my food! Aww, I can't be mad at you!

I've stumbled into the Secret Order of the Cloaked Kitties. I'm not quite sure what's going on here, if these are adorable or what-the-blank creepy. But I think I want some of these either way.

Somepony out there will be excited he can share the story about how he went out drinking with a bunch of Japanese school girls. They won't have to know about these though.

I'm not sure kids have the patience required to consider plants as toys but it's an important lesson they should learn! These little pots sure are adorable and they'll be pretty flowers after a while!

Show-prop tote bags. The one tagged "Mulder" has X-Files written all over it so that's obvious, but the pudding can is from The Walking Dead. Carl found it while scavenging and sat on the roof and ate the whole thing himself. Moments like that in shows can really define a character and we were pretty excited to see it was noticed and merchandise'd.

Hahahahaha Star Trek red-shirt security officer cat toys! Those poor red shirts can't catch a break! Also Klingons because today is a good day to... get chewed up by a cat.

We have a friend with a kitty named Spock so they'll be fascinated to see this collar.

Random pile of show-themed weapons. Lots of Game of Thrones, fan-points awarded for each one you can recognize?

Begin the debate! If you throw Thor's Hammer through a window, could you pick it up? How about if you break the window? Don't you just love a good "he who is worthy can lift Thor's Hammer" debate?

Classic 1st Generation Transformers glasses! Remember when Megatron turned into a GUN? Like a real-looking, no-orange-cap-in-front gun? Cheers to that?

Are they grey because they are prototypes or what? Either way these G1 Transformers look super cool.

We like that they separated He-Man and She-Ra sets there are lots of good characters from each show. In the middle? Pee-Wee's Playhouse!

Those blind-box figures reminded us of M.U.S.C.L.E. and here they have actual ones for Alien and Street Fighter. For those ponies who don't know, it stands for Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere. They were originally based on crazy pro-wrestling characters.

They have Robotech and Aliens box figures, too. It's nice to see some Robotech merch that's a pretty good early anime series.

I think even Cobra Commander would advise you fill up his glass with milk. You know it's good for you. And knowing is half the battle. Yo Joe!

Toxic Avenger? I feel like I've posted some Toxic Avenger pics before. If you know who he is you probably know that his movies are NOT kid's movies! So that makes these figures funny in an ironic sort of way.

Versions of the Masters of The Universe characters based on how they appeared in the cartoon show. Who here is a Sorceress fan? And of course the awesomely-named Man-E-Faces.

These Masters of The Universe figures are from the cartoon but never before done as figures. The cartoon had lots of characters that never got official figures and it's cool to know it's still popular enough so many years later to keep making new figures!

She-Ra looks a bit, um, off? Not quite what we remember she looked like.

If they make MOTU figures to look like the old Star Wars figures, will they make original Star Wars figures in the style of Masters of The Universe? Can you imagine Luke Skywalker holding his lightsaber over his head yelling "I.... Have...... THE POWER!"

My friend says that show-acurate Triclops is brining back lots of happy memories. He can hear his goofy voice in his head. Also check out Teela's hairdo. How, pun intended, classic!
