Patches Minty

Another bunch of random pics before I post up some pictures from this year's vacation in The Outer Banks. Stay tuned for those, but here's some fun pics now.

Remember that thread we found at the flea market? Here's what for! Promo patches? We hope to look real professional at the next thing we get press badges for.

Pics! Click the "Read more" below!

Just the perfect thing for my friend to see on his way to lunch. Yum! Sorry Internet sarcasm text filters don't accurately convey his feelings about seafood.

Another vehicle at a stop light made us chuckle with low-tier humor. Wonder what type of movie set this truck is going to?

Inspect this receipt and the Star Wars fans will giggle when the McDonald's employee actually shouted "Order 66!" for me.

Muppet Babies plushies at the Disney Store! Only found Gonzo, no Kermit. Later found out they are doing new Muppet Babies things so this is probably from the new stuff.

The graphic shows baby Moana wearing a shirt but the tiny figure is... not? Is anypony going to notice and make a big deal out of Disney selling topless baby girl figures?

Notebook cover from the movie Beetlejuice. Betelgeuse? The character's name is Betelgeuse but the movie title is Beetlejuice. I can type Betelgeuse Betelgeuse Betelgeuse Betelgeuse Betelgeuse Betelgeuse as much as I want just don't say it three times!

Good job art director person for making such an iconic image out of some silly prop in a random movie scene. Everypony instantly recognizes Luna's glasses from that one Harry Potter movie, right?

Is it me, or does it look like Wonder Woman is judging me here? Don't judge me!

Got a chuckle out of this random Rick and Morty shirt featuring the Mortytown Locos. You won't have to worry about them anymore.

We liked this clever idea for bookends using Rick's portal gun. But who has books anymore? You're going to need some books.

I gotta admit we weren't excited about the Lego Voltron set, until we saw it in person. Still too expensive, but it did look super cool!

Here's a better look at the Voltron Lego set. We wonder how much better it would sell if they made the minifigures to go with it? It's still very expensive.

The other epic new set is this $400 Hogwarts Castle. Comes with the four founding house members and a ton of tiny "trophy" figures for everybody. If I was 5% more of a Harry Potter fan, I'd be trying real hard to find a place for this in our tiny apartment.

How does Halloween Xmas ornaments work? Is this from some other dimension?

We are new fans of the show-thing Aggretsuko, which is pronounced "ag-Rits-ko" short for "Aggresive Retsuko (Ritsko)" about a frustrated office worker red panda who sings death metal songs to relive her anger. And yes it IS made by the Hello Kitty people.

Parking shame picture! This is not too far away from a CVS so maybe they needed their medication.

Sometimes Arby's doesn't quite fill up the french dip au-jue in the cup, but sometimes you're so happy you just gotta take a picture.

We picked up this squish Kirby and we have to say, it's very satisfying to squish it and watch it pop back up over and over again. How is this not the next fidget spinner trend by now? Note that it was hard to get this picture of a semi-squished Kirby, as the pop-up is rather quick.

There are so many things wrong with this picture: Thanks for blocking the sidewalk. At work. With a beer ad. In Spanish. Who came to work in that thing?
