Big E's Pics

There's a big thrift store that we've passed a lot, but have never gone into before. It's on the way back from a big flea market, so usually when we pass it, we've been antiqued-out already. We knew eventually we'd stop in, so of course we got some pictures to share.

This guy on the business card doesn't have any name that starts with an E, so we don't know who "Big E" is, but this is his thrift & antique store! The place looked pretty big from the outside, let's wander around and see some stuff!

I've always wanted to learn how to hustle! Not that kind of hustle! Like, the make-extra-money type of hustle. Because I'm not making any money off of this blog, that's for sure!

Aww! Look at the puppy! Looks prefect for looking out of a window. All - of - the - time - looking out of the window.

Red alert! It's a decloaked Romulan Warbird! My nerdy friend wants to point out that it's a classic Original Series version Warbird, but a Next Generation version Romulan Logo on the stand.

Big 'ole wall of random tool things. I guess you have to know what you are looking for. See anything you need?

Yikes! It's the severed head of a Cabbage Patch Doll! That's hideous! If you look closely, it says "Ear Muffs" whew... that was creepy at first, they have to work on the packaging to not horrify people.

Funny how it says "The Original" Battle Trolls. Like, there were other battle Trolls? Let's make sure people know there are the real Trolls!

That tag says "3 Sexy Doggies" Hahahaha! Hey, I didn't write it!

Star Trek: Customizable Card Game booster packs! The Trouble with Tribbles packs included special Tribbles cards that you could play a whole separate game with that's more like a traditional party card game and less like a full-blown complicated TCG. So it might be possible to buy a bunch of these and still be able to play something. Will somebody close that hatch?!

At this point, wouldn't anything you find on an 8-Track Cassette be considered "Classical Music"? If not, here's a bunch of classical music 8-Track tapes.

This red-eyed bunny looked scary. What's in that bottle you are drinking? Looks like a Coca Cola bottle, but I'm not sure...

What year was this plaque made? Pretty sure you can pinpoint when "It's on like Donkey Kong" was a popular phrase, right?

Wow look at the landscape on that cabinet! Who needs to hang up paintings, just have a bunch of these in your room.

I tried to get a picture to look like this mannequin has it's arm around me like it's my buddy, but the camera wouldn't focus properly. Hey um, you wanna wear more that just a hat? There might be kids around here.

Oh My Goddess! is an anime series where an unlucky guy accidentally calls a goddess help line and is permitted one wish. Thinking it's a joke, he asks for a girlfriend just like the angel, and... she moves in with him. Comedy ensues. Back before Manga became acceptable in America, they did comic book versions instead.

Do they not know about colors? How can this say Love Pink, and be yellow?

Just some nice artwork. They don't all have to be funny pictures. Sometimes we can just have some nice ones.

Oh snap! Who would have thought Thanos would just pawn off the Infinity Gauntlet to a thrift shop? Looks like it has all the Infinity Stones, too. Ummm.... HOW MUCH!? I'LL TAKE IT!!!! I can think of no better example of finding valuable treasure in a thrift shop.

Not sure if I like this or not, but it looked interesting. Anybody have any opinions on the Butterfly-Sails Ship?

Fly away! Or at least, you can pretend to.

I took this picture so I could research how old it was, since it says "50th Anniversary" on it. Turns out the Disney World 50th Anniversary is... in the future! October 1st? How is in a thrift shop? Who's the time traveler here?!

That dresser seems like "too much" right? Like it's got the odd shape, the painting all over it... just where would you think it could go? Looks like it could definitely go somewhere and be perfect there, but where...

Painting on a giant saw blade? Sure! But again, where would you put that? You'd have to be like, a real lumberjack to want that, you think? Look, deer, we cleared that whole field for you cutting down all those trees with this big saw blade.

I usually take a picture of the outside of the building at the beginning, Hollywood calls that an "Establishing Shot" so you know where you are. This time I got the building as we were leaving. Is there a Hollywood term for that?
