Screwed-up Pictures

How about another round of random pictures? It's been a while, let's see what we found interesting enough to get a picture of.

Yikes. I can probably point out a lot of things wrong with the title of this book, but that would mean that I didn't "get it". It's a joke, right? Chapter one: move. Don't continue to live with screwed-up people. Done. That took only a few seconds to read.

Is it the Barnes and Noble people that didn't get this one? They put those computer books for "babies" next to the actual baby books for numbers and colors. Are they beginner-level books for adults that just say "babies" to be cute, or do they really expect actual babies to learn computer programming just the same as colors and numbers?

I haven't seen enough Dragon Ball Z to know who this character is, but my friend thought it was funny how her outfit had Klingon Kleavage. That's a non-official fan term for some of the Klingon costumes.

Kabal was a favorite character from Mortal Kombat 3. We always thought it was a little unfair that he had those hook swords. Surely that's some kind of disqualification in a martial arts tournament, right? I'm not going to tell him though, you do it!

Looking at this display, I realized that I had never before in-person seen a Playstation 5. So... What's the game we have to get for this? Nothing right now? Okay it's cool to wait on buying one then.

Homer Simpson as The Pie Man. He wore a mask and threw pies at people who deserve it. These refrigerator magnets are like memes that you post on your fridge door.

We always get Fire Sauce with our Taco Bell so we thought it was funny when we walked past and saw this, and my friend was thinking "Fire Sauce, please!" Haha.

Um... did we miss some kind of announcement? When is there going to be an eclipse? Why else would this cereal include an eclipse viewer?

Hmm. This picture was taken quite a while ago, more closer to the time when Eric Carle had just passed away. And we were trying to think if it was unlucky or lucky that they coincidentally had this package featuring his caterpillar. It was too close to make us think they did it on purpose.

Which Loki is this? We almost bought this just to make sure the back of his jacket said "Variant". If you are looking to pick up this figure, travel back to 6-17-2021 at 6:47. You have to give us a minute to walk away, so we don't know it went missing. No need to create an alternate timeline out of this.

Slug! Saw this critter outside one afternoon and took it's picture. I feel like I should say something clever about slugs here. Did you know that slugs have five livers? Sorry, I just made that up. I don't know anything about slugs.

Why do I find Leprechauns in Space so fun? It's like a total contradiction between science and fantasy. But... in a fun way.

Rainy day squirrel! I don't know what happened this year, but there's not as many squirrels around as there used to be. So it makes us extra happy to see one when we do.

News story fun enough to share. Could you imagine if you went to check your bank balance and it said A BILLION DOLLARS? That actually happened to someone! It was a glitch and they didn't really have that much money. Still... could you imagine?!

Squish! Fun with reflections! Hi over there, squished Minty!

How are you even supposed to do Pokemon cards at two packs a day? That won't work if you are trying to collect a full set, and it won't work if you are even just trying to get enough cards to actually PLAY the game! I feel like this is a school-level thing where the teachers are trying to take away the kid's Pokemon cards because they all can't get along or something.

Here's something I've wanted to try out for a while now, and I finally did. You know those instant mash potatoes? Where they are like dried flakes and you boil water for it? Well... what if you tried mixing that with... soup? We were bored one night and actually tried it! It wasn't as awesome as we thought, but interesting. We used regular Chicken Noodle. Probably won't make the regular diner rotations, but I'm glad we tried it. Might be better with a different flavor soup, maybe some butter for the taters?

My friend doesn't like lemons so he cringed when he saw this adorable Korilakkuma. Which I guess was funny enough to get a picture of it.

Skeletor and Trap Jaw before they became Skeletor and Trap Jaw. A friend of mine saw the new Netflix Masters of the Universe series, and warned me DO NOT WATCH it. Remember what Discovery did to Star Trek? That. So I'm going to take that as good advice and purposefully NOT watch it. Which is sad a little bit, but I'm glad to have been warned.

Bought a cheap box of random My Little Pony cards. Sometimes you just want to open a booster pack, right? Found this pegasus named Spring Step who is very "Minty"-colored. Like, exactly my same colors. Are we related?

Got a good laugh out of the Monster Truck version of a classic Dog Pound car, and the thought of that in a monster truck rally. All the dogs in the back would be like "WOOF! WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!" Hahaha.

Right next to it was another funny food truck car named Monster Portions. Which again made us laugh, as we thought oversized meals is very much... 'MERICA!

It was soooooo hot that day. Saw this exhausted chipmunk lying up in that tree, and it was so hot, that it couldn't even be bothered to move when it saw us taking it's picture! Stay cool, little guy!

Hmm... what do they make is Slovakia? Paper? Who knew? Is the paper in Slovakia so good, that's what we get at work? You think there'd be someplace closer that also makes good paper?

Oddly, it had been quite a while since we've eaten at White Castle. The "Long Live Sliders" text on the drink cup has a very "Star Trek" font. That's got to be on purpose, right? If so, it should say "Live Long, and Sliders" but maybe that's too much like Star Trek to get away with.

Horned Hercules! AHHH! Last year we had neglected to catch one of these in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the game that's based on real-time. So we actually had to WAIT a whole year until July came around again to finally catch the final bug in the collection. It might sound crazy, but that's part of what makes this game so awesome. Sure you could reset the clock on the Nintendo Switch and "time travel" but doing it the right way is much more rewarding in the end.
