American History 3

Cars and Kitchen stuff. You might not think there's too much "history" yet for cars and modern kitchen stuff is still a little boring, but there were exhibits and we got pictures!

My friend made me post the "old" McDonald's stuff as the main picture, since he worked there around this time. So it's like personal history. Did he actually use THAT fry scoop? Maybe???

Click on the "Read more" below for more modern-ish history?

I like to move it, move it. Now you got that song stuck in your head? You're welcome? Sorry? Whatever you prefer.

Electric car! Why is this not the standard yet? How do we make these cool enough that everypony wants one?

You see a classic car on the road and you think "Aww yeah! That should be in a museum!" Well, here it is!

Did gangsters drive this? Or is that my movie-head thinking that?

If old cars look this cool, why don't new cars look the same? I wonder if a car company made new cars that looked like old cars, would they be popular? Why is that not a thing?

Who doesn't love a train? Like a big 'ole powerful mechanical fire-breathing dragon.

This big light house reflector seemed a bit to fancy for the room. Like a chandelier just shoved in a corner.

Super old Eskimo boat. Good luck!

Old cruise ship mascot plushie. We're plushie fans so happy to see one of any kind in a museum!

Is there going to be actual food from the 1950's in this exhibit? Gross! Haha no there wasn't.

I forgot what this picture was for. Some kind of ice cream machine? Usually if we forget what a picture was, we don't post it. But we decided to post this picture to explain that?

Haha old-school TV Dinners! check out those crazy trays! And the mini folding tables to eat them on.

Who thought Gatorade was this old? The old can looks OLD.

The McDLT. It kept the hot side hot and the cool side crisp. This was a moment in history for sure.

The evolution of wine making. I don't wannnnna learn about wiiine!

BAM! Emeril's got a jacket in a museum! Hope he's got fresh food in his restaurants.

They had a modern whole kitchen on display. I noticed the Rubik's Cube behind the phone over there. Treasure hunting in a museum!
