Princeton Ride Home

Another bunch of pictures from our bike ride around Princeton.

America doesn't really have "old stuff" like castles in Europe or pyramids, but this campus somehow gives off that kind of old-world feeling.

click on the "Read more" below for the bike ride home?

We saw this beautiful girl in a wedding dress they were taking pictures around the campus. Right? Because nopony just wanders around in a big white poofy dress?

Not following them, just ran into them again by chance. Look at that beautiful background! Seriously they could have done this in a studio? Because it should be about the GIRL and dress and not as much about the background?

Hey we might need some kind of um, Bicycle Lab? This sign is not very informative I guess we should know about it already.

Yeah the sign points down into this dangerous looking place. Probably no super villains down there. Probably.

Past the campus, more sidewalk! This is the spot we turned around. So much more paths await!

Palmer Square. If you took a bus to Princeton, it would drop you off right here.

Moments before this picture, this little alcove surrounded by buildings was completely empty. Then the tour walked in. Then a bride's maid photography group. More tourists. Who needs peace and quiet? Life is better when there's more stuff going on, right?

Looks like the old church is getting some work done. A little lift here, a little tuck there... You don't look a day over 200!

I can't believe those creepy Chinese Zodiak heads-on-stakes statues are still outside the art gallery. Creeping-up this nice fountain everypony is playing in. Nothing against the Chinese Zodiak, that's cool. But these heads on stakes... poor animals!

If I take a picture like this, we can only see the nice fountain. We were pretty heated up and felt like jumping in but we were on the way home and felt we wouldn't quite dry off enough.

There's an odd ice cream cone sculpture in front of this building.

Back at the D&R Canal park on the way home. Moments ago we saw two people ride their bikes right past this sign over the bridge. We weren't quick enough to get them on camera.

Didn't quite notice it until we were close to home, but this rainstorm was chasing us. We made it home right as it got on top of us, but we didn't get wet at all.

Bonus picture! Photo-enhanced circles to highlight the chipmunk. Those crazy things are still having trouble dashing right in front of bicycles! This one was eating something and we managed to get a decent picture of it.
