Hotel and stuff

What vacation doesn't start with checking into a hotel? BORING! We actually just threw our stuff in the room and bolted out the door to make it to the Arlington services in time. Still, it's nice to have some pictures to look back on to remember silly things like hotel rooms?

Typical hotel room. We're in DC so is there like, listening devices all over these rooms? I remember that from somewhere. We brought Impulse with us because it's always better to travel with a friend.

Click on the "Read more" below to check out what's around the hotel?

It's a "3" she says. Apparently you can put your room key on a phone app now? We don't have any space on the phone to download more apps.

We were going to be here a few nights. After the services we all were going to take advantage of all the fun things to do around here. So it's not all sad?

Another hotel out the window. They can't all be great views.

Mini grocery store in the lobby. If you are too stressed to venture outside or whatever.

You are paying for the convenience. Who cares if the ice cream is $8. It's RIGHT HERE!

Wooden table in the lobby. What type of tree grows like this?

Crystal City? Am I back in Equestria? If you don't know, there's a Crystal City in My Little Pony world, too!

Here's the subway map. I thought it was funny that we take the BLUE line to CRYSTAL city. If you've seen Breaking Bad, you might be familiar with blue crystals of some kind.

These high ceilings are a shocking difference to the New York City subways we are familiar with. Seems kinda space future-ish.

Took a picture of this cute ad, but we're not quite sure what this is supposed to convey. Is this poor squirrel going to fail a drug test because of the poppy seed muffin? Or is that an excuse because it's really an addict? What is this ad for again?

Not so long ago, there was a time when unattended bags were quickly snatched up. Less-fortunate ponies would hope for treasures. The dream was the bag would be full of money. Ah, the good old days?

Our hotel was one stop away from the Pentagon City Mall. We ate a couple of meals here after coming back from the museums of the day.

There was a Lego Store in the mall thought it would be funny to take a picture of the Capitol Building. Hehe... building. Get it?
