Smithsonian Zoo part 1

While traveling up the East Coast we were driving through Washington, D.C. We didn't have too much time to stop and see a lot of stuff, but got a few hours to go to the Zoo! It says Smithsonian but it's a different kind of museum full of cool animals!

Parking cost $22 but entrance to the zoo is free! They do charge $3 for the park map if you want to carry it with you... or you could print out this picture? Then in a way, Minty can go with YOU to the zoo?!

John's Pizza

In Manhattan, across the street from the theatre for Phantom of The Opera, is a restaurant that I HAD to post about it. The place is John's Pizza and the food was so good we didn't want to stop to take pictures but I got some anyway to share!

Apparently this was an old church so the inside looks very "churchy" complete with stained glass windows. This is the ceiling.

The wall had pictures drawn all over it, can you see Obi-Wan and Darth Vader fighting over the last slice?

Magic is the only way this calzone could have tasted so good. It was filled with magical cheese.

Silverball Museum!

You probably know that I like museums, based on all of the trips I've taken and posted about. Our recent trip to a museum was extra fun because it was full of Pinball Machines! Hundreds of them, and once you pay to get in, you can play as much as you want for free! Okay technically not "free" since you paid to get in, but... you know what I mean?

This "museum" is right on the beach at Asbury Park in New Jersey. So it's all sorts of fun before or after pinballin'
