Visitors! I won't drag anybody down with explanations, but recently we had an opportunity to have my friend's parents visit us in New Jersey for a few days of vacation-style activities. We got a few pictures to share of the fun things did.

We took them to the D&R Canal Trail that we frequently ride our bike around. Since we drove the car there and parked, walking around was a little different than riding the bike. Here's a side-trail view that we have not gotten from the bike.

Hot Dawgs

Back with more pictures. I wonder if you could analyze these random pictures, what types of things we usually find interesting, and form some kind of psychological profile on Minty. Does it matter that there are a few hot dog pictures we took around the 4th of July?

What would you like on your Hot Dog? Green wheels or orange wheels? Since I like lots of relish on my hot dogs I guess we'll go with the green wheels please.

Sorry for the long pause, I thought I had scheduled content to automatically post, but I guess I forgot when, and it skipped a week or so. Here's just a bunch of rando pictures.

Actual broadcast news from NBC confirms Autobots in the Bronx. My friend tells me the fire car's name is Red Alert. It doesn't say what they were shooting at, but it doesn't look like there are any wrecked Decepticons anywhere so they probably got away.

Random Bits

Back with pictures of random bits. Literally.

Recently went to the Honda dealership to get my passenger-side airbag recall replaced. Found these plastic bits on the floor of the car. Did they break anything? Should I say something? I discovered them a few days later and feel totally odd thinking about going back in and asking "hey, um,... is this cool that you broke pieces off of my car?" Seriously, Honda?

Ikea You!

One more set of pictures from the recent Ikea store visit.

This plush thing looked all kinds of creepy. Like if Tim Burton did Monsters, Inc.'s Mike Wazowski. According to the tag, his name is Förnyad. If this picture wasn't enough nightmare fuel, y'know,... you could just take one home with you.

Who's House is This?

Ikea! Bored on a Saturday and thought we'd spend the time seeing if we could find something we didn't know we needed.

It's fun to look at these displays and imagine yourself in someone else's home. Could we do that for real? Like, we wouldn't touch anything, we just want to check it out. No? That's not creepy at all. At least we have this in the Ikea store.

Garden Sneak

As much as we ride our bike around Princeton, we still discover little secrets all the time. So that's a cool excuse to get some pictures to share.

The intense smell of.... fertilizer... almost made us turn around. But it looked like there was nobody around and why not explore a bit? We were in the mood to explore a bit.

Super Model

After seeing these in the hobby shop display cabinets a few times, we thought we'd give a try at building our own model kit. Thought it would be a good picture taking opportunity with a review of sorts.

There are a virtual infinite number of models to get. During the search, somewhere between "not cool enough looking", "why does this cost so much money", and "okay how much time do we really want to spend on this" we settled on this character here for $30. A quick Internet search says this character is Fumina Hoshino from Gundam Build Fighters: Battlogue.
