Andy's Brick Shop (bag 1)

Adventure! Sort-of. Saying "Sort" is kind of a pun, because of all the sorting this store must do. You know, there is a whole market for Lego pieces separated out of the sets, and for old sets not available at retail anymore. Well... imagine that's a store at the mall. No need to imagine, actually; it's Andy's Brick Shop in Oxford Valley Mall!

Some people don't like "opened" Lego sets, and I'll agree there's something better about the freshness of a newly opened package. But there are a lot of times when you'd really rather not pay for the full set when all you want is one specific minifigure or a few of the rare parts. Maybe an old favorite set was sold at a yard sale, and you want to have it again? There are lots of reasons for a store like this.

Pizza Box

I think I have enough pictures to "pick up the pace" for a hot minute. We had a couple of vacation days we had rolled-over into the new year that were set to expire soon, and even though we couldn't travel to visit family yet, we still got out and about, and took a bunch of pictures to share. So you can check back a few times each week,... if you like.

This is another round of plain old random pictures. Like this Panera Bread Pizza we finally re-tried. My friend used to get them all the time before they stopped selling them, and now they are back! At first it seemed a little expensive, but after we were done eating it, it seemed about right. The real selling point is the awesome cardboard box it came in. We've been using it as an eat-in-the-car tray for weeks now, we should have done this a lot sooner!

Shamrock Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! As always, Minty is wearing a nice shade of mint green! These are not holiday-themed pictures even though I'm posting them on the holiday, it's just more random stuff again.

Hello person from the future reading this! During the "Covid Times" some stores in the mall had these carts as gatekeepers to avoid overcrowding. They could only allow 12 people in the store at a time, and it still seems crowded in this tiny Box Lunch store.

Drive Over Thru

Back with another round of pictures. Even though it's all pandemic-y and not able to travel places, we still get out and get pictures to share. Whatever we find interesting, hopefully you'll find interesting, too.

Fail! Check out that huge tire mark in the mud, that was no where close to being right! I hope that person's KFC meal did not cost a ton extra in car repairs for driving over that concrete divider.

Rainy Snow Texture

It kind of amazes me that we can gather together a couple dozen photos each week of random junk that could possibly get some kind of entertaining captions. During the Covid Times and lack-of-adventures, at least we can share something you can keep checking in on.

There was a neat texture to the ground where the rain had fallen on the snow, and then re-froze. It's starting to rain um... water rain, and not freezy snow. So some of the snow is starting to go away where it's not piled up.
