Star Wars Easter

 Should I stop trying to have any sort of intro for the regular ole' pictures posts? Is it hard to come up with some kind of theme, or am I just a little lazy about it? Anyway, enjoy some fun stuff we saw while being around town.

I can just hear The Mandalorian in my head calmly saying "Take that off. You're not wearing that." in response to Grogu's Easter outfit. Um... Is there Easter in Star Wars? 

Deep Roads

 Pictures! Although maybe you are here for the fun captions. Sometimes I wonder if I even need to put comments on these things. Feels like I'm "pony-splaining" things a little. That's the thing where you over-explain something. It's obvious what the meaning is, but you have to say it anyway, as if the person doesn't get the point. Some people find it really annoying. You see what I'm doing here? Over-explaining the concept of over-explaining things. I'll stop.

Stopped in traffic and get a chance to get a picture of the repair work on this old-school concrete road. Check out how thick that is! It's as deep as that paint can. They fill that in with modern road stuff, not more old concrete.

Word Shenanigans

 Top of the morning to ya! Or top of whenever you read this to ya, if it's not morning.

Pretty sure I already posted a picture of a shirt with the word "shenanigans" on it. It's just such a fun word to say. And it implies fun in its meaning. It's just a top-quality word in general.

Self-Aware Puzzling

 Yet another batch of rare photos with fun comments.

Is it hard to find this puzzle? It seems to be aware that it's rare. That pony is named Rarity if you didn't know, so it's a nice play on words even if this puzzle is more common than it thinks.

Busted! People Magazine with a seemingly huge blunder, as they published this cover after Betty White had sadly missed out on her 100th birthday by only a few weeks. How embarrassing for People Magazine. There is a happy thought here, because even though she is no longer with us, Betty White is still making us laugh!

Rarely-seen figures

This is just more regular ole' non-adventure pictures of stuff.

What to say about Aurra Sing? They drop a cameo-style appearance in Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, use outside-the-movie sources to hype her up as some kind of Hunter of Jedi, and then... never use her in the other movies. That Heist Nebula figure is based off of production of an episode they stopped all together. Does the hidden-backstory mystery make these figures more valuable... or less? To be fair, they did use Aurra Sing in a few Clone Wars episodes, if that counts.
