Volleyball at Work?

That shot was OUT! Like how quickly would you get thrown OUT of work for playing volleyball over the cubicle walls? Of course this is on clearance in the Beyond section of Bed Bath & Beyond. Just imagining this going on somewhere is making me laugh, that poor guy.

Wicoff House n More

There was still more pictures we took from the Wicoff House Museum on Founder's Day, as well as the rest of the afternoon.

Outside the house, we found this awesome setup. This might look like just a cool garden, but it's actually a specially-designed Plainsboro's Pollinator Pit Stop for migrating butterflies. They go all the way from Canada to Mexico, and now they can stop and take a break in New Jersey. Could you imagine if these things were all over the place? Yes, more butterflies please.

Wicoff House

As part of this year's Founder's Day celebration, they re-opened the town museum which had been under renovations for quite some time. It was the perfect opportunity to go in and check out the place.

Looks like there was some kind of ribbon cutting thing, with chairs set up for an audience, that we missed. The door was wide open inviting people in.

Founder's Day 100

The tiny little town we currently call home holds a big community picnic each year and says um, let's call it "Founder's Day!" Fans of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine may be expecting something different. Anyway... we went this year and took some pictures to share. Victory is life!

Rain-delayed from the previous weekend, today was a relatively fantastic day considering what we've been getting this Spring. We had to walk all the way down a sidewalk leading away from the fair to get this picture, and turned back some people who were following us as we headed back. We only went this way to get the picture. The kids went "See? Told ya!" So that was a little fun.

Free Comics!

The first Saturday in May is Free Comic Book Day! Sorry that you might have missed it, it usually sneaks past us, too. This year we did go out and get a couple free books and we got some pictures while we were out.

How is it that we never get an "I Voted" sticker, but we get one for Comic Book Day? I was about to point out that Cheetah is not wearing any clothes here, but that would make me a hypocrite since, I guess, I usually never wear anything either.

Easter Unskip

Okay so we sort of skipped over the Easter pictures we had, so here's a few late pictures and some other fun stuff.

Even though we are far away from family, we still got to have some Easter fun thanks to the local Smashburger we visit every week. There was a raffle for an Easter treat basket which we wound up winning! It's a little awkward accepting this, which probably should have gone to a kid, but my friend's inner child was plenty excited.
