The Met part 1

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is locally referred to as "The Met" because, well... it's a lot easier to say? Not to be confused with the Baseball team The Mets? Anyway we went and took A LOT of pictures so I'll be sharing some fun museum adventures!

Part 1 of our adventures into the past takes us through ancient Egypt. Here's a stone relief of Anubis hanging out with some other cool guy.

click on the "Read more" to check out more Egyptian coolness?

I bet this game was pretty cool. It looks like the instructions are written on the side of the box but I can't read them.
If this sneaky guy was trying to "get fresh" with his lady-friend, that's um, not cool? But why did they make a statue of it? Maybe there is a matching statue of this guy getting slapped right after um, this statue happened?

There was an odd corner with a bunch of unsorted bits-and-pieces on various shelves. We spotted what looked like a dragon skull? Cool!

Apparently in ancient Egypt My Little Pony merchandise included whip handles. I wanted to say "cool!" but then realized the whip was probably used on horses or people or something and that's definitely not cool.
