Join the hunt! That's the tagline for the TV Show Supernatural. Soon it will be showing new episodes from the 12th season, this show has got quite an impressive fandom. My crazy friends drove a long way and spent a lot of money to surround themselves in this show's cool-ness! Of course I get to tag along and get some pictures to share!
Here's the main hall where all of the actors come out and chat with the audience. Lots of fun to be had here for sure! Nothing going on right now though.
Click on the "Read more" below for conventiony fun!
Here's the outside of the convention center. Boring! Let's see some cool stuff already!
Registration line. There were a lot of long lines that day.
Here's a map of where the stuff was going on.
Photo Ops were EXPENSIVE! Notice how this sign was PRINTED that the top two stars were already sold out. Those guys are POPULAR!
Here's the merchandise area! Let's go spend some money!
I thought I took more pictures of the merchandise, but I guess not? Here's some pre-autographed photos, some of them from other shows?
The convention center was right on the river so the view was pretty amazing.
You can see the baseball stadium in the distance. We almost saw the game on Sunday but decided against it.
The other direction was just as cool looking.
Some stars! Here's "The Sheriffs" to start everypony out by laying down the law! They actually didn't act like sheriffs at all. Only on the show I guess..
One of our favorites from the show, Mark Shepard plays the "King of Hell" Crowley. Most ponies were asking him odd questions so he was acting mean like his character would. It was kind of fun.
Mark Shepard walked around the crowd. At one point he stopped to hug a baby and it tugged on his beard! it was adorable! Certainly won't see something like THAT on the show!
Chuck and young John Winchester Having fun answering questions. I wish my camera was better! They seem so far away!
Our absolute favorite, Ruth Connell plays Rowena the most powerful witch ever! She was so charming her Scottish accent is the best! My friend got to ask her a question about how her audition for the show went, and she got a hug and Ruth actually gave her a bracelet gift it was awesome!!!
Everyponiy's favorite angel Castiel! Misha Collins is quite a "character" at these conventions super friendly and always getting into mischief.
Misha asked if anypony had been watching the show for all 11 years and it seems that most ponies binge-watched it. That's okay it's a great show you should totally binge it!
Going to get our photo with... just call him "Chuck." No big deal.
Tried to sneak a picture of people... getting pictures. They were very tight on security! You can see Ruth Connell back there, right?!
Unfortunately the main two stars of the show were not there the day we went. it would have been so much more expensive to see them! Oh well, maybe next time? Here's some photos of them
Happy with my souvenir! This ring belongs to Death on the show. If you've seen the show you might be excited to have one of these, too!
