Some more warm pictures from bike rides in the summer.
You may have to look closer in this picture, but it was very obvious we were about to roll right through this party of vultures on this poor deer. Note the "lookout" vulture under the tree to the left? Yeah, nothing to worry about fellas, we are NOT interested in your deer.
Did we make it across without hassle? Click on the "Read more" below for more pictures.
There were about ten vultures. Big enough to be intimidated by, for sure. This side of the deer smelled pretty bad, take the picture already so we can get out of here!
Ah, flowers. Remember these? They'll be back next year. There was an odd orange glow coming from this patch of flowers you can't see it in the picture.
On the D&R Canal trail, somepony cut down all those trees in front of that cliff where they put up a statue. I guess that's not part of the State Park and they can do that.
Hey bird on the tree. Yeah, we see you.
It was a Sunday afternoon with almost zero traffic, but we still shoo'd this deer away from the road. Crazy thing, don't you know what roads are for?
We stayed a while and watched this show about some people who got their boat stuck in the mud. It was fun to watch and had a happy ending when they finally got it out.
Algae covering this part of the river. We've seen that a lot and it's still pretty cool looking.
Went across this other bridge over the canal river. We started waaaaaaay over there!
Some kind of old house was being renovated. Let's take pictures of the old house to see if there are any ghosts in it? See any?
Do you see the fun part of this picture? Notice the fishing lures all tangled up in the power lines? This must be a popular fishin' spot?
Nice babbling brook beneath the bridge. It was making that nice sound.
Tunnel under the road was a little creepy looking but it was better than dealing with the zooming cars above.
This was on the part of the trail where the horse rides went. I wondered if they did this on purpose so the horses could jump over it all epic-like?
Pretty pink flowers for everypony to "awww" at.
