Punk Rock Flea Market part 2

One more bunch of pictures from the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market.

I've been told this building was used to make giant wires for the Brooklyn Bridge a long time ago. Sounds believable. Trenton is know for that kind of thing.

That silver Rock Lord there almost got us, but again my friend was in too much of an "I already have a bunch of stuff" mood. It's an old non-Transformer robot that turns into a um, rock.

This giant gear was on the floor, probably part of the original factory. I can imagine a conversation when they were clearing out this warehouse: Man, that thing is heavy! Y'know what, just leave it.

Adorable summer Pikachus! Looked like the boxes were open so you could check on them, but we were too lazy to check.

That girl back there is getting a tattoo! No screaming at all, what a trooper. Also in this picture, hand-etched wooden boxes. At work we have laser machines that would do that, is this more artistic or does the laser machine-etched ones still count as art?

You know it's a "thing" when they have their own Merch Booth. So if you bought a bunch of stuff here, might as well get the t-shirt, too.

Um... WHAT? When did Battlestar Galactica have reptiles leading the Cylons? This is the type of thing that really disturbs the fan's mind.

These brilliant people put their coffee stand right in the middle of the place. It was super busy. My friend is not a "coffee person" but even he briefly thought about trying some anyway.

Do you need a beetle? It's a big one?! This might seem a little cruel but in a way it seems like a cool thing for that bug to be appreciated as art, considering how many beetles there are and all.

Creeeeeeepy! As creepy as this is, can you imagine being the person gluing those bones together? Because you know somebody had to do that.

Another thing we almost bought was this Goblin King pendant. If you don't get the reference, go watch the movie Labyrinth and then you'll want one, too.

Hey, you need something heavy moved? This place has a big crane rail thing going on up there. It doesn't look old at all. As a matter of fact, it looks like there's a whole level up there they could be using if they needed.

Here's the other side of the warehouse. Looks very similar to the other side. What did I just say?

Here's the outside of the place. Do you think it's a little odd that only some of the window panels are broken? If rowdy kids are to blame, you think they would have gotten them all by now. And it looks like too much for random nature to be at fault.

Hanging out in the window here. I can't really be put down at a flea market, because picking me back up again could look like I was being taken without paying for me. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen myself being sold at one of these things yet.

There's a nice big park area on the side of the building where all the food trucks are hanging out. We forgot the ad said food trucks, and ate before we got here. Might have been nice to sample some food truck stuff.

Turns out the electric sign that said "FLEA MARKET PARKING" blinked and then said "SOMEWHERE ELSE." All we saw was the first part and thought it WAS directing us to park here, which apparently was not cool. Yikes. Our car was still here thank goodness. We were maybe going to take another lap through the flea market to get some more pictures but decided not to push our luck with the wrong-parking. We'll know where to go next time.

This $5 wristband was good for the next day if we wanted, but on Sunday it was raining heavily and we wound up not going back. I wonder how the concert went in the rain. Did it add to the fun somehow? That might have been interesting to see after all.
