Another batch of old random pictures we found! Are these the best kind of pictures? These are from around February. Also, I should mention that the blog entry interface is changing, so there might be a near-future when a huge lapse of time might occur as I have to buy a whole new expensive computer to continue to blog.
This truck says "Best Way Logistics" but, is taking up NINE parking spots the best logistical way to park? Is this an example of "irony"? At the very least, it's hypocritical.
Exclusive Black Yoshi! What is the logic behind one new character in a set of other characters you probably already have? At least you get extras you can um,... trade? Nobody said anything about driving them down stairs purposefully.
I thought I had posted this before, and I know I've posted these since, but anyway... Masters of the Universe WWE cross-over! Just saw the Castle Grayskull Ring, not the figures yet. It's amazing how well the WWE characters seem to "fit" I mean, check out Sting with the scorpion tail arm! And Triple H with the skull mask crown and sledge hammer is so perfect.
Mom, can I have Jolly Ranchers for breakfast?
Sure, honey.
[Puts away cereal and opens up package of real Jolly Ranchers.] [Keeps cereal box forever and never actually eats any.]
Another "mystery flavor"... who is falling for this? Why would you buy a whole box of this, what kind of person gambles on... snacks? Is that like, a double-addiction?
Another picture I took for my friend, who shall remain anonymous. That's right he's cool, says my friend.
Nothing Bundt Cakes sounds like a comedy name you'd see in the background of a Simpsons episode. If you just glance at this sign, does it kind of look like it says "nothing cakes"?
After spending several hours grinding wild pokemon battles to level-up on Pokemon Shield, we discovered that if you do the gigamax raid battles you get these XP Candy boosters. That XL booster gives you 30,000 xp which is the same as like, 50 random wild pokemon battles. And the L ones give you 10,000. So just a tip for anybody else playing, this is a MUCH FASTER way to go!
I think Turbo did retire down to Florida, the new squirrels are not around very often. But they do surprise us every once-in-a-while to cheer us up.
SNL did a follow-up Undercover Boss parody with Kylo Ren. Since our recent trip to Disney World and our new familiarity with the Aurebesh language, we can read those coffee cups say "LORNE" which is a obvious nod to Lorne Michaels the legendary SNL producer. Bonus humor for Star Wars nerds like us!
This note in the background of that SNL skit was not Aurebesh, at first we thought it was Futurama alien font, but we checked and it's not. Anybody know what this is? I guess we're not quite nerdy enough.
Speaking of notes on shows, this note on screen for Supernatural very largely puts a finishing blow on the argument that the abbreviation of Castiel is "Cass" with TWO "S"s. The fan community always used one "S" while the actors always insisted the scripts use two. Sam Winchester himself put his name on the bottom of this note, but... would Dean have used one "S" for Cas?
Our friend asked what we were having for dinner and we sent him this picture. This is all they have for our Friday Night Nachos? I guess we'll have to make due...
Lego shadow puppets? That's brilliant! See what I did there? Hehe. Looks like you CAN play with Lego in the dark.
This shirt text is funny but almost just a funny is the fact that they were sold out, so I had to get a picture of the sign.
Baby Yoda poster! Sold out! Where's my tracking fob, I need to bounty-hunt one of these down. At the time I took this photo, merchandise for this show was very hard to find.
I think there's the one same squirrel who knows about the treats, as there are others that just don't come over. I haven't settled on a new name for it, but it's certainly not as brave as Turbo was. Not... yet?
Here's the new Buffalo Chicken Nacho Fries Burrito at Taco Bell. Well, it was new when we took this picture back in February. It was a lot smaller than we thought, don't be fooled by the ridiculously enormous picture on the menu or commercials. It was tasty, but another lesson about lowering your expectations on the portion sizes that you see on display.
We watched the anime Garden of Sinners based on a friend's recommendation. We thought it was a "Fate" show (with the heroic spirits stuff) but it turns out it was just that creator's earlier work. The show does use much of the same ideas and could easily "work" as a side story. It's not what you would typically expect of an anime, as it was mostly very slow-paced, but still good. Why am I giving an anime review with a picture of ice cream? They used this exact Strawberry Ice Cream in several scenes and I gotta wonder if they paid for the promotion or is it just the artist's favorite flavor and they were excited to share. We shared this picture with our friend who recommended we watch the show.
How cool is the Thundercats logo text? Proof that Hot Wheels collecting is for adults because NO KID would know what this is. What other 80's cartoons should get Hot Wheels versions? Was there ever a Smurf car?
It's a shame this is an old picture; it was supposed to be a reminder that it's Shamrock Shake season at McDonald's. We had been enjoying Shamrock Shakes during the NFL season last year through some unknown bizarre connection with the nearby Philadelphia Eagles, so it wasn't that big of a deal this year for us.
