Hmm... Sorry for the break, I had pictures but thought I had scheduled some postings. When I checked, I guess it had been a few weeks. Does that make me a slacker? Well, have some pictures outside the airplane window...!
This Gremlin is from the episode of The Twilight Zone which guest-starred William Shatner. Classic TV at it's classic-est! Perfect for putting outside of your window.
I bought the soap dispenser with the adorable Grogu on it! Except... when I popped-up the top of it, it points away from him? So instead of looking at Grogu, I now get a look at the back label, which is just text. D'oh!
The window on this package is in her mouth, so it looks like she has a mouthfull of marshmallows! So funny! I know my picture doesn't quite show it that great, but it looks very funny.
Lego was backed into a corner several years ago; they say the "yellow" color in the classic sets represented any skin color, but made the switch to flesh-tones in the movie and show sets for better clarity. They still try to make the yellow minifigures obviously identify-able, is it working?
Don't you just love seeing a huge spoiler on a toy? What is Baby Yoda doing flying around in Luke Skywalker's X-Wing?! Oh, you haven't been keeping up with the show? His name is Grogu.
Checking out the Xmas clearance merchandise and stumbled across this cracked-faced nightmare. Looks like Santa Claus is um... a pirate... during the off-season?
Want your name on a drink? Is that how a Personalization Bar works? Minty on the rocks!
I'm not familiar at all with religious references, so I have no idea what this actually means. But it sounds super intense. Maybe even a little bit scary.
The coolest toaster ever. I can imagine a funny scene in the Batcave with Batman and Robin having toast for breakfast, hahahaha.
This looks like a funny sign, but it's honestly a dangerous joke. You're not supposed to run away from a bear, it might trigger the instinct to chase you down. The other sign over there is a little more accurate.
Dia de Muertos is like, the happy version of Halloween. All of the creepiness, but in a cheerful way. How did that happen? Kinda neat, right?
Mantis in one of her best moments. This scene from The Guardians of The Galaxy Holiday Special was both incredibly silly and incredibly touching at the same time.
Busted! I don't play Call of Duty as much as I once did, but I did catch the error on this package as they switched the names for the characters Soap and Price. Does anybody care? But, those are the main two guys!
Wandering around the shopping center, I peek upwards and see a big wasp nest. It looked abandoned, but don't they usually go back to the same spots year after year?
Metal plates and little magnet circles, and you can make a calander out of any shape! Fascinating.
This picture might not mean anything to anybody, but we got the closest "free" parking spot on the street in Princeton. The shopping area is right over there! There might be people who hate parking meters that might get a little bit of joy from this type of thing.
Is anybody a fan of Asterix? I can practically hear everybody say "...who?" I remember playing a Commodore 64 game decades ago, but I still don't know much about this property. Playmobil knows.
Politics is a ...game? Those guys at Princeton are smart. Smart enough to get away with charging you $107 for a used book. That's the real lesson here. Selling books.
D&D figures from the old cartoon show! What a well-crafted show that is. Both for people who have never seem Dungeons and Dragons before, and also for loyal fans. If you seek it out and marathon it, know that they did write an official ending for the series, that they never produced. It's included in the DVD Box Set.
It's oddly frustrating that merchandise for the car from Supernatural rarely uses the name Baby. So it was nice to see this model kit mention it. It's a total member of the cast.
Minty with horns! I'm part of the art! The art was just horns, by the way. I suppose the point was to stand in front of it, like I did.
Rabbit meme statue. It can't hold all of those cookies. Meme merchandise?
Extra-extra effective against vampires! It's both Garlic, and Holy!
While talking with a friend, we had a fun challenge to see what The Internet would give us if we searched for "Bumblebee". Would it be the insect, or the character from Transformers? And... Transformers wins! Over actual bee. Way to go, Internet! Hahahaha
I'm puzzled over coming up with a fun caption for this picture about Puzzle Month. Do I have a whole month to think about it?
Adorable Robin and Nancy figures from Stranger Things! Classic 80's movie bit where the high school kids go undercover as "college kids".
This Lego Optimus Prime does transform into a truck. Or practically anything else, since it's made from Lego bricks.
Ohhhhhh.... So close! Goodbye, the number one. You've been over there for quite a while, but it's about time for number two.
Who likes to do statistics math? The car was bought in November 2011, and this was about the beginning of February 2023. The word that comes to mind is... reliable. Maybe with a few very's in front of it.
Here's the spot we pulled over to get those pictures. We knew we were close to the numbers, so purposefully drove down this long road with plenty of pull-over space. My friend still needs to drive a few more hundred miles (or maybe a few thousand?) to say that HE drove the car 200,000 miles, since a few other people have driven the car other than us, but that's a technicality. Can I use this opportunity to say "thanks!" to our awesome car? If you're worried about those lights on the dashboard, one is a sensor in the seat, and the other one a sensor in the wheels, the car functions fine with them both on the fritz, we've been told.
