Hi! Back again with some more fun pictures! I usually try to post something once a week, so this might count as slacking. A little. Thanks for checking back. No pressure on the fun pictures. Was it worth the wait?
Lego Store employee dressed up as a Stormtrooper on Star Wars Day, May the 4th Be With You. The Star Wars sets are over there. The droids you are looking for might be in one of those sets! I know this is all in good fun, but it felt slightly awkward having a bad guy working for the store. Should I trust him?!
I've already taken some pictures of the new Neopets Card Game, I still haven't bought any yet. How long has it been since I've checked on my own Neopets? Thanks for the reminder, cards.
Dragon's Lair is the perfect type of retro game that you should seek out and purchase. In the arcade, you had to toss so many quarters at this game! So much less stress to just enjoy it without having to worry about all the money. Or, maybe just get some trading cards.
Yes please. The Labyrinth soundtrack would be amazing. If only I had a record player.
With the card title covered up with the package, I saw this and did not recognize this Pokemon at all! So I took a picture to research later. Turns out, no research needed, text in the middle of the card say Enamorous.
You need to look for it up in the upper left corner there, but it's a card from the Disney Lorcana game. It's Scrooge McDuck's Lucky Dime! The first money profit he ever made. Now worth.... fourteen dollars! Apparently.
I have no idea what game or anime this was from, but it was cute, so I got a picture. Should I watch it? Or um, play it? If it's a game.
This Genshin Impact character is named Charlotte, she's a nosey newspaper reporter. This was the only character they had for this wallet. It's hard with so many characters in a game to make merch and get them all, but only one?
So... technically... I posted a picture of a dozen naked chicks. Sorry if you google-searched for Naked Chicks, and wound up here. I was trying to be funny. Did it work?
Wow. That is a fan. Ganyu is only 1 out of like, 100 character in the game Genshin Imapct. We play that game, but don't have that character. Is she that good? They probably wouldn't have her all over the car if she wasn't.
Is the printing light blue on purpose, or has this been on the car so long that it has faded in the sun? If I could do this, I might pick either Xilonen or Mavuika. or Furina. There's actually several cool characters that deserve this kind of treatment.
Okay one more picture from the back. I think it's funny that I blurred-out the license plate number, to maintain the anonymous owner. But really, is there going to be more than one car with Ganyu prints all over it?
My friend is not a fan of fish as food, but we did think this little set had super adorable seagull characters. And it really reminded us of the beach, in a good way.
Another odd promo in a Pokemon card set. Little acrylic printed punch-out stands. Weird, but neat. They get bonus points for trying to be creative and unique.
sarcasm mode: Awww! it's a cute Strawberry, or Flower! That you use to murder-squish flies and other pests!
Does buying this for your Mom technically make you a Princess or Prince? If your Mom is the Queen, that is.
Oh so perfect. The text on the pet jewelry says "So Spoiled" hahaha! Of course your pet is spoiled, you just bought it jewelry!
I thought COOL! It's a rainbow color pen with Care Bears! And then... Wait. Isn't there a Care Bear with an actual rainbow on it's tummy? Why is the shooting star bear here? It should be the rainbow bear, right?
Did you know the WWE had a character that was a full-blown pimp? The Godfather had a theme song with lyrics that sang "Get on the hooooooo train!" "Pimpin' ain't easy" and "Pimps up, hoes.... down!" That might sound outrageous now, but it was all done in good fun, at the time.
I'm not sure the camera captured the color correctly, but these parking lines are an odd green color. Why?
Where was this comically large Stormtrooper Armor Thing in the movie, exactly? I'm kidding, I can imagine a young Me would have thought this was super cool. Who cares if it was in the movie or not.
Spoiler alert, Lego! Why is Captain America using Thor's Hammer? That's one of the coolest moments of the whole Marvel... Thing! Lego gets points back for finally using Wanda Maximoff on the box instead of Scarlet Witch, they didn't use that title for her until after those movies.
They recently upgraded the theatre near me, there's cool faint blue lights in the hallway. Neat.
Am I this far behind posting pictures I took? I saw the Tunderbolts* movie. I'm one of those people who simply go to watch the latest Marvel Thing. I've seen it all, so I might as well keep going. I've even stopped trying to think "I wonder how good this movie would be if this was all on its own, without the thousands of hours of homework viewing?"
Y'know what? Pretty good movie. I liked it. I've also stopped researching "who's the new guy, like, in the comics?" I'll let the movie tell me who the new guy is, and whatever powers they have. No need to compare them to comics I haven't read.
Somebody left all these glasses next to the dumpster. I would not even consider salvaging them, so gross, but I did have the fun thought of smashing them, one by one, just to hear the cool sounds.
Go Bender, go Bender! It's a not-Lego Bender! Lego has several sets for The Simpsons, but never did a Futurama set. We'll have to settle for kinda-Lego for right now.
Technically Disney owns Family Guy, too. So it's not impossible to think that we might eventually get Lego sets for that. Until then, we'll have to deal with another not-Lego set. Do you think Lego could do any better?
I flipped through a My Little Pony character book, and check me out! Is Minty on the Track and Field Team? It's a different hair style, but the same colors. Wearing shorts so you can't see the cutie mark, for accurate verification.
I had a funny thought that you could hide this in someone's room, and drive them crazy every hour. Where is that coming from?!
I was browsing an auto store, and glanced over at this little metal skull switch. It doesn't even need to be hooked up to anything, to be amusing. People will see this in your car and wonder what could possibly be the function of a switch with a skull on it. Dare they flip it?
You might think that twenty five dollars is a lot compared to the price of a Sharpie. Each of them can be a Label Maker. The box of Sharpies was actually more expensive: thirty. I suppose you only need one Sharpie, and not a whole box of 'em. I still found the comparison funny.
It took a while to wait for it, and I did get lucky enough to get a red light to try and get this picture, but you really can't read that bumper sticker on that Tesla Truck up there. It said something like "I bought this before Elon Musk went crazy" which is funny, but a little sad they needed to clarify that with a sticker.
