Stranger Pics

Wow. It's been a while. Thanks for checking on me. There was more than just my being lazy causing the delay this time, but I don't want to dwell on that here. Let's just get some fun pictures going, and fun comments on them. I do hope to settle back into posting something at least once a week, eventually, so thanks again for sticking around.

I saw this Stranger Things figure pack before they released the final season, and I thought they might have spoiled something. See how the chase version of Steve is in black & white? Like the chase version of Eddie? And... Spoiler-alert... Eddie didn't make it through his season. So When I saw this I thought poor Steve might not make it, either. Did he? You watched it, didn't you?

Oh, wow. I am so hungry for some marbles right now! Haha kidding. Maybe like M&Ms or something.

Buy this towel. You'll eventually want it. Even if you don't "get it" right now, someday, you will.

This Masters of The Universe character is based off of the Hellfire Club t-shirt the kids wore on the Stranger Things show. Because they are both from the 1980's, of course.

I might have already taken a picture of the Transformers version of the Back to the Future car, Gigawatt. But I saw it in the store again, so I took another pic. I might have said this is heavy, and great Scott!

Hah. I once bought a loaf of bread to do an infinite toast dinner. I bought the spray butter so the toast would not get crushed spreading tub butter with a knife. Do I need to state how awesome it was? Simple toast, all you can stand.

Awww. Characters Troy McClure and Edna Krabappel are no longer on The Simpsons because the voice actors have passed away. They were still fun characters so it's nice to see figures for them.

Non-Lego companies continue to try and wedge in to the building blocks market. I gotta say, this Stewie and Brian from Family Guy looks pretty cute!

I have a friend who was all into these Warrior Cats novels. I don't know how many there are, but I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of them. Looks like they get merch! Is there a cartoon or something I'm not aware of, or is this for the actual novels?

Um.... This package says "I swim like a REAL mermaid!"? Does it though? Really? Are there real mermaids somewhere to check on that?

I thought those tiny symbols on the side of this Hot Wheels truck were some sort of Transformers faction, but I can't match them to anything. So now I'm not sure what they are for.

Pony Car! I'm excited because I'm a pony, obviously.

Steak & Potatoes. One of our personal favorite pairs. My friend wants to point out that they could have done a pun-statement using "well done" as well, since that's the way he likes his steaks.

Two-fer! Two POP! Figures in one. At the concert with the band The Who:
-Skippy, what's the name of the band playing on the stage?
-Who, Aunt Slappy.
-The band, playing on the stage
-Who
-The band!
-WHO!
-That's what I'm asking!!

Another pic that requires the quote from the show, as Ned Flanders says "Feels like I'm wearing nothing at all!" and created the meme within the actual show as Homer references this scene as Stupid Sexy Flanders.

Cool Super Mario Galaxy cereal tie-ins. Neat to see the cereal mascots playing along with Mario.

Anybody else not know about Chicken & Waffles at this point? Interesting to see it as a flavor for something like this.

Super-young Rose McIver spotted while watching Xena: Warrior Princess. Rose has been in a lot of good shows like iZombie, Power Rangers RPM, and the recent sitcom Ghosts.

XL Hot Wheels car is a donut. So like, get an extra big donut!

Hilarious Monster Truck-sized Flintstones car. You know these are powered by Fred running his feet under them. How is he supposed to work this thing?

Olaf on your shoulder! Adorable. I like this type of merch, my friend got a similar little Avatar dragon thing when he went to the theme park a few years ago.

I saw the text on this that says "Compatible with other name brands" and we all know that means "Lego" but shouldn't Lego say that on their packages, too? D'oh!

Is this a Frozen reference? Let it Flo? How fun. It always makes me feel a tiny bit uncomfortable when real companies use other company's things, but this doesn't seem too extreme of a use for a thing.

Yeah. That's what I did when I saw this, too. Sorry, I guess. It's funny though.

To you, the day The Rock came to your town was the most important day of your whole town. For The Rock... It was a Tuesday.

There is a NFL Football team, the Philadelphia Eagles, with a genuine "finishing move" which is called the Tush Push, or Brotherly Shove. They basically give the ball to one guy and PUSH him forward right through the other team's line. Almost guaranteed 1 or 2 yard gain. Near impossible to stop and other teams try to copy it, and fail. It's quite the puzzle.

Suckerpunch is just a funny name to give to a pickle. And that old-style boxer looks perfectly funny, too.He does look like he's about to give you a sucker punch.

I saw this and thought it was a Star Trek "swoosh" but it turns out it's just a Pikachu ear. Is Pikachu secretly having Star Trek ears this whole time?!

Look at this adorable King Cobra! It's got a tiny crown and all. Looks like it should be a Queen Cobra. Is that right? Is it just Cobra? Or is it King Cobra, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are all guys? Like, there can be girl king cobras?
