In December we took a trip down to Florida. Going down from up north, it was amazing to get such good temperatures for a while. If you are reading this from Florida, um, you can ignore that bit.
Do Pegasus ponies fly this high? Looking down on the patterns of roads and lakes is so neat. That looks like a great place for a home? No, THAT spot. Ah, it's a bit hard to point out things...

Beautiful Fort Myers. If only I could include the warmth of the day in this picture. I'm not actually in the water here, we are on a pier looking back toward the beach.
Can't you read this language? It says we visited Legoland Florida and had a great time! Oh, and something about a dragon I suppose...
Legoland was built in an older park called Cypress Gardens. Part of it is still maintained as a um, garden. Here is a banyan tree that's about 100 years old. Looks complicated for a tree.
Hidden in the garden are 5 Lego Brick-built Travelocity Gnomes. Despite the fact that they weren't "hidden" too well, we only found 4 of them. We chose not to let this bother us, but I think I secretly wanted to go all day until we found that last guy!
A highlight of the park is "Miniland" with entire cities re-done in Lego bricks. Here is the White House complete with the President and his family, and the visiting Santa on the roof has been detained by Secret Service agents haha.
I like the Lego police figures are the ones with the "Buckle up" advice. I'll see YOU next time with more pictures from the vacation?
