Miku Expo!

They were doing a promotional tour for our favorite computer program/pop star Hatsune Miku which came through Manhattan recently. Including stuff at the NY Comic Con and a couple of concerts, they had an Expo-shop which we just HAD to check out.

Here's the corner outside. The line was around the block! Turns out the line was only to buy the limited-edition art posters. The figures and T-Shirts we came to get were already sold out (sad pony.)

Here she is! This life-size Miku statue greeted you at the doorway. Every pony wanted their picture with her!

This is the list of posters, you can see the T-shirts we wanted were marked as "sold out!!!" with 3 exclamation marks!!!

She's a pop star so of course here is some music CDs. She has tons of albums out!

 

Miku is holding the sold-out figure we came to get, some other lucky pony thought to pose it with her. So of course we grabbed an amusing picture of the figure.

In a display case we saw a small Miku figure from a um, Game of Thrones crossover?

A Japanese store across town had some exclusive art stuff on sale, too. Here's Miku as a Samurai Warrior about to do some very cute stuff. Or kill you. Whatever.
