Okay so I guess I post a lot about Lego?, This time, we visited the newest Lego store in Manhattan, which they are calling their "Flagship" store. So this is the Starship Enterprise of Lego Stores? Anyway, we took some pictures of course!
The store is bigger than their Rockefeller Center store, but still not as big as you are probably imagining. Here's a Statue of Liberty torch with giant minifigs waving down. This is just the arm and not a whole Statue of Liberty!

Here's the over-100-years-old landmark Flatiron building, named for it's triangular shape similar to a um, flatiron. If you are taking this picture, the Lego store is to your right, across the street.
Sort-of a Lego Store mascot, this dragon is winding his way through the walls here, too.
Up above the merchandise there is a timeline showing various minifigs in period settings and outfits. There's a lot more of these here.
Lego Stores have these display cabinets with fun scenes in them. That one guy is on break, okay?
In the back of the sore is a play area with a cityscape in a glass box. All sorts of neat hidden things, can you see some Guardians of the Galaxy in the park?
Jetski on a roof? That's soooo dangerous! And there is another swimmer?! AH I can't take it!
There are 10-foot high mosaics displaying in the windows from outside, showing various New York stuff. Is this a toy or art? Why can't it be both?
