Continuing the pictures we took from the vast Antiques Mall in Virginia Beach!
Since most old stuff gets plain 'ole thrown-away, Antiques are kind of like things that probably should have been garbage, but aren't? Is this one big junk pile? Should we ever throw stuff away or keep it as antiques? Oh no I made my head hurt.
Just enjoy the fun picture click on the "Read more" below.
I think we've played enough Call of Duty to recognize ammo boxes. Actually this looks a little like a Care Package from the game. Where's my new camo pattern or weapon charm?
Is "Strawberry Schwarzcake" supposed to be an alcoholic Strawberry Shortcake reference? But with an appropriately-aged character of course. Also rootin' tootin' Yosemite Sam.
Hiding in the corner is 80's home movie star Miss Piggy. We were big fans of her work in movies like Top Frog and Kung Fu Kermit.
Sorry saddle but you look like you should have been thrown away. What kind of antique is this? This better be a famous pony's saddle to be in such bad shape and still be worth something.
Aw yeah. They sell modern versions of retro lunch boxes but there's just something a ton cooler about an actual old lunch box. This one even had a name on top of it
This big sea horse was pretty but we don't really have anywhere we could put such a large thing.
Sure enough, there's a Puss in Boots and a Chinese Nightingale on the cover of this album titled Puss in Boots and Chinese Nightingale. This big thing has two whole stories on it!
I feel like I walked into a 70's living room? Turn it up to 11!
Don't modern DJs prefer these old things? There were a literal ton of old vinyl records here! Not our type of treasure, but somepony out there should certainly find some treasures in here!
There's even retro rock art painted on the wall! Reminded us of "The Night Begins to Shine" if you need to look that up.
There was a big room full of sports stuff like these boxes of cards.
We didn't have time to inspect these for any favorite players or teams but there's a chance there's some treasures to be found here for someponys.
Make a Rainbow Connection with this old Kermit the Frog phone! I guess novelty phones are a thing of the past with everypony having cell phones in their pockets and stuff.
This thing was in the Toy Story movies!
I guess driftwood counts as antique? What's the price of something you can just find yourself, saving you the hassle of finding it?
When I look at this picture now, I realized you can't see the bank robbers on the seat that the kid sits on. Subtle justice.
Random antiques. Took this picture for the cute puppy art.
What's the point of buying this with it already filled with pennies? I'm not a math wizard, but it doesn't look like there's anywhere close to $45 worth of pennies in that thing.
Was Tarzan a guy, right? Why is there a jungle babe on this cover?
More random antiques. Old tennis rackets and... jeans? That old rusty bug sprayer thing looks neat.
Is this a loophole in the gun laws? Another antique gun you probably won't need a background check or... adult even (?) to purchase. Well we didn't try to buy it so maybe we're wrong.
I wonder how many bored friends lounged in this chair while their friend spent all day excited in the antique store?
Super-Old Phone! Now these fit in your pocket and have color television screens on them, too. Imagine telling that to some guy in the past?
Aztec patterns on this cookie jar to y'know, put the hearts of your victims in or whatever else those crazy Aztecs kept in jars. Maybe cookies.
Grimace! Why has Grimace not yet made a comeback of some kind? Have him loose a bunch of weight and he calls himself "G" now? It could work!
