Antique Toys part 1

Back at the giant Antiques Mall in Virginia Beach. We were told that this place had an "upstairs" that was full of old toys so we were a little excited to check it out. And get some pictures to share.

This little secret spot could use some word-of-mouth advertising. If old toys are your thing, you might want to plan a trip to Virginia Beach and visit this place. And y'know, there's a beach and stuff near here, too.

How much treasure? Click on the "Read more" below!

Did you ever see one of those movies where the characters walk into a treasure room and it's absolutely filled with treasure? Kinda like that.

There were tons of display cases and shelves. Right away we were pretty impressed with the amount of stuff.

These pictures aren't really clear enough to zoom in and look for things but obviously there's a lot to look at.

Here's an evil Orko type character from an un-produced Masters of The Universe sequel. How is a show so popular that this happens?

My friend had one of these Starriors snake fortress things. And plenty of fond memories of it. It made a perfect G.I.Joe enemy Cobra base.

Another isle jam-packed with display cases of super heroes.

Turn the corner, and MORE?! Lots more! It's like the TARDIS, where the outside of the building doesn't seem like it would have so much space on the inside, but it does.

This figure is actually more recent Toys R Us exclusive, it's a girl version of Loki. So y'know, Loki being Loki and messing around with everypony.

SUPERMAN! Would it be Supermans or Supermen? Check out the piggy bank. Is that a Superpig or a Superman-Pig?

Oh, wow they had one of those 3-foot tall Japanese robot guys!

Transformers! This section was more recent but still older figures than what's in stores now.

Hoist was one of my friend's favorites. I guess he was popular enough that he got a re-issue a while ago, so this one is not really from the 80's but it's just like it was.

For a brief time they made Transformers out of Star Wars ships. Here's Anakin's Starfighter from Episode 3 that transforms into a robot Anakin. We always thought it would have been cooler to imagine real-Anakin flying around in his robot friend who turned into the ship.

Fun to see Xena figures. These are from her appearances on the Hercules show. We have to make some time to re-watch some Hercules episodes it's a fun show.

Callisto was like the best villain. She was kind of like Harley Quinn and Batman all rolled into one. Should we apologize to Batman for using him in this comparison?

Okay The Walking Dead is very much a modern show, but it still has a bunch of collectible merchandise and probably some of the more rare stuff was here.

Final Fantasy X-2 figures! All three main characters here in the default outfits. That game revolved around changing outfits so it's a bit disappointing they did not go nuts and make like a hundred figures for the game like they could have.
