Englishtown Flea Market Romp

A lazy Saturday romp around the Englishtown Flea Market for no particular reason. Just wanted to get out of the house and maybe get some fun pictures to share at least.

Here's the big sign that reads "Slackers!" as it advertises Karaoke from over a month ago. I guess nobody is paying attention to this sign. Busted!

Treasure X: Aliens Review

There's a lot of things we like about the previous Treasure X series. We like the art style of the figures, my friend cannot resist a "booster pack" random figure, and we had unexpected fun opening the thing. We saw the newest set was some kind of Alien Autopsy version; and if you know my friend at all, he immediately thought "No Freaking Way!" Because he's more than a little grossed-out by the thought of cutting into a slime-filled alien. I convinced him it might be fun to suffer the torture, to get a few pictures and make a silly story out of it. He was not too happy about it but let's see how it goes...

The premise for the Treasure X: Aliens set here is that this creature ate some kind of alien and you need to cut it out of it's slime-filled guts. And you might find a real "gem" inside this time, rather than gold. How much is a Peridot worth? "Why are you making me do this?" says my friend.

Comfort Numbers

Bike Training

Out for another bike ride on a Saturday. This time we were going to try to make it to the local train station. Let's get going!

Right away we have a good picture for today as this deer is casually eating surrounded by people using the Canal Trail. Why does it get nervous when we stop to take it's picture? It didn't flinch while several people passed by it a short while ago.

Stuff'd

Here's a ton of random pictures we had saved up, so we decided to make it an extra large portion of pictures this time.

We'll start off with Chicken and Waffles from Dairy Queen. They no longer had the pulled pork sandwiches, so we tried these out. The portion size was huge and you know you can put syrup on anything, including chicken, french fries, and waffles, and it makes it better. Should we be sad that we are too full to get a Blizzard desert?

New Pictures, Old Stuff

One last bunch of pictures from our trip down to Virginia Beach. These were all taken at the wonderful Antique Mall. There's no limit to the amount of pictures we could have taken there, but we didn't have a lot of time to go too crazy checking out all the fun stuff.

It's easy to shop here despite all of the various nooks and crannys belonging to separate vendors. Everything is tagged and there is only one register to check out. It's not old junk, it's called "treasures!"

The Hunt!

The family continues the tradition of the yearly Egg Hunt for all of the grown-ups, usually some time after Easter. Hidden in the eggs are a year's-worth of loose change, and there are contests to guess what the unknown total will be. Here we are taking a picture of an egg, wasting valuable time that could be used to gather more eggs!

Home Trip version 5-19A

Traveled down south for the weekend to celebrated various Spring holidays with the family. There's some pictures of stuff to see.

Waiting for this train to pass by, we were disappointed by the lack of graffiti on the sides. If we are going to have to wait, at least we should get a nice art show out of it.
