Traveled down south for the weekend to celebrated various Spring holidays with the family. There's some pictures of stuff to see.
Waiting for this train to pass by, we were disappointed by the lack of graffiti on the sides. If we are going to have to wait, at least we should get a nice art show out of it.
Wait a minute for the train to pass and then click the "Read more" below...
Slump... We usually check the claw machines at this Wal-Mart they had a whole room full of them, but it looks like they are all gone.
Back home in Virginia and we spot the world's smallest dragonfly sitting on the car. How cute is that?
Turtle in the back yard! They are always mooching off of the garden goodies but nothing has been planted yet this year.
Believe it or not, this is the "good" comic shop. Can't blame them for chasing the profits by packing up half the store to drag around to East Coast conventions.
There's still some stuff to check out there. Found this miniature figure booster pack which could contain something called a "Large Time" Dragon. This ain't no small-time dragon, yo!
Shake Shack! In "downtown" Virginia Beach over by Pembroke Mall. It just opened a few days ago, so the lunch line at noon we waited in was almost 50 minutes long.
It's right next to this Barnes and Noble that's all wrecked up. Somebody told us it will be back, they just planned on building apartments on top of it.
Shake Shack was supposed to have Dracarys Burgers and Dragonglass Shakes, like, from Game of Thrones. But since this opened right after the finale aired, they didn't think it was important to have them. They still had the bags, though.
There are menu options for pets. Yes. Buy 5 gourmet dog biscuits for $8. Because you love your dog, of course.
Burger, Cheese Fries, and Shake was almost $20. You might need to be aware of that before you plan on going and thinking this is like fast food. I'll be honest and say the tastiness lives up to the hype. It might be expensive but at least it's super yummy.
It was an excellent day to eat outside, and we saw this giant Jenga game on the other table. This place has been open for 3 days and this is still intact? How long until this thing is destroyed piece-by-piece or taken as souvenirs? Hey I know you paid $60 for three meals but that doesn't mean you get a free Jenga block.
Only one picture at the Books-a-Million that was going out of business. here's a great-idea Stranger Things Dungeons & Dragons set. Oddly enough, a regular Dungeons & Dragons set would have been more appropriate tie-in with the show, since that's the one they were playing on it.
One day my friend admitted he had not seen any of the John Wick movies, and his brother nearly lost his mind. So the plan was to stay up all night and watch them at the next opportunity. After watching them, yes indeed they are as awesome as everyone tells you they are.
Sleeping over at my friend's bother's house, we were joined by this cat that cuddled with us all night. So yeah that was extra cool.
There will be more pictures from the trip down to Virginia, but had to include this ticket we excitedly bought when we got back home. The 3rd John Wick movie was the best yet.
