Punch! I usually try and post something once a week, thanks for sticking around for my usual nonsense pop-culture pictures and comments.
Remember when the Hulk movie came out and everybody got the "Hulk Hands" and it was having a moment? Well... They figured out how to do it again! This time in red. The Washington Football Team was like... Um, this is what we meant by "Redskins" all along! It was always Red Hulk! What did you think we meant?
Mattel combines Barbie into little Hot Wheels cars. Not giant Barbie sized Hot Wheels cars for the dolls to sit it. Did they ever do that? I feel like they must have, both Barbie and Hot Wheels have been around for a long time.
Neat! It's a Hot Wheels of the car on the cover of the first Superman comic! Also, the plane from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I like that scene, it's right after the big intro car chase and Indy finally gets on the plane and gloats "Nice try, Lao Che!" and slams the door shut which reads "Lao Che Air Freight." And the plane crashing jumpstarts the real adventure.
AH! That Nerf-sword pistol looks so cool! And it's just a random no-brand thing. It makes the Optimus Prime Transformers sword next to it look so lame. C'mon Hasbro, step it up!
Call of Duty Spawn characters! Get it? No? Maybe it's a stretch, but when you get killed in the game, you "re-spawn" in a random spot, so you can get back in the action. So... re-SPAWN? Kinda silly, kinda awesome. Spawn, the comic book character, is not really in the game, as far as I know.
Did you know that Super Sonic was put into the original Sonic the Hedgehog game because the creator was a fan of Dragon Ball Z? It's like when Goku goes Super Saiyan, with the gold spikey hair. Now it's in the movie!
Not much snow this year, again. Yay global warming! and yes, that was sarcasm.
Check out this icicle, frozen to the ground! Does that mean my car is stuck here?
It's like the snow didn't even cover the whole landscape. Why did it skip over spots? I must have missed it.
Look at these adorable dinosaurs! There's a debate over dinosaur colors. Some people think they were plain like modern reptiles, other people think they must have been colorful like birds. Here... Color them however you want!
Cute little Pop-Tarts Plushies! Your child totally won't feel guilty eating Pop-Tarts after this. No chance.
I found the picture from a few posts-ago. Where I took the heads and swapped them on these two figures, to make a custom Peter Cushing as Van Helsing from an old black & white movie. Maybe I should have made this picture black & white for a better effect. Also wound up with a Grand Moff Bilbo!
My friend had some Sectaurs figures when he was little. They did a modern re-release, cool! Except... where are the bugs? The original figures had cute/cool little Pokemon companion bugs, before Pokemon was even a thing. Where are the bugs? Did they not know to include the bugs? The name "Sectaurs" implies "Insect," and that's bugs, yo. Hard pass without the bugs.
Another throwback figure from Barnyard Commandos. This box had NO pictures or anything on it. So if you have no idea who's in this box, then it's probably not for you. Who's in charge of the retro figures? Do they know what they are doing? Who doesn't put a picture on the box? Is it really more important for the box to look like a barn, all the way around it?
Hmmm. It's getting to the point in Star Wars where you see a lightsaber and a Jedi and you are like "Who is that guy?" They did that before, with random council members or whatever, but Jedi Master Sol was the guy from Squid Games, and he had a whole TV series. And you might still read this and say to yourself "really? Huh..." And look at that, when did Chewbacca get a lightsaber? Huh, that's not Chewbacca?
The Grinch with rip-off not-Lego blocks! PERFECT! He's stealing interlocking brick patents! Ha! You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch!
Yikes! Dora explored the deep south, and um... Ay caramba! Ayuda me!
Star Trek Tamarian herbal Tea! Shaka, when the walls fell. Timba, his arms wide. Sokath! His eyes uncovered!
I did it! I found the sign!
These litte cute pictures reminded me of something, but I'm not sure what. I want to say it was a graphic style of some video game I played, if that's a clue, but I can't figure it out just yet.
Lego made a minifig set based on Dungeons & Dragons characters. Some of them were characters, like Vecna and Tasha the Witch, and some were just random classes. This Dwarf Barbarian miniature looks like the one Lego made, is it a character, or not? And also in the picture, the funny contrast of a Giant... Miniature. Is it giant or mini? Hahaha.
Of all the characters from Genshin Impact to make a figure of, they choose Klee? I'm not mad, she's actually adorable in the game. She's all like "Ooopsy! I'm throwing bombs blowing stuff up! Sorry, I'm making such a mess! Please don't be mad!" The little psycho!
Do I even need to say anything for this one? Of course I had to get a picture of this. That's just a mask on the headrest, if you didn't know.
Two in a row that do the work for me. The picture IS the caption.
I thought it would be funny to think if you buy a bracelet to track a penguin, and you look it up, and... wait, my penguin has been in the same spot for a while... And... That's actually not funny at all. I made myself sad. Why would I want one of these bracelets? How long do Polar Bears live?
That price on the giant crystal rock thing! It's on "sale" at $4116.97, down from $6169.99, which is actually quite a sale, if you think about it. Even people who win the lottery appreciate a good sale.
Of course it looked like butterfly wings, so I had to do the selfie in front of it. Does it look like I have butterfly wings? That's gotta be worth four grand, right?
Do Labrador dogs have anything to do with Labradorite? Aww! Look at this rock! Who's a good rock? You are! Yes you are!
What kind of bracelet is that? Uranus! Whoa! Sorry for asking.
More neat Genshin Impact merchandise. Can you tell it's one of the games I play, because I take pictures of the merchandise? It's a fun game, with good writing in the stories. Look, it's that crazy bomb girl Klee again. She's not a main character or anything, that's just a coincidence.
