Remember when it was nice outside? Warm enough to go for a bike ride? My camera remembers. Enjoy some pics from last summer.
This hilariously satisfying scene was outside a school. Trash those desks! Yes! They still looked okay, I briefly thought I could come back with the car and take some, but where would I put 'em?
Okay one more pic. I wonder if any of them had initials carved into them? Should I go carve something? Ha, just kidding. Congrats to the salesperson who sold the school new desks. That's a lot of desks they replaced.
The Principal will decide who can or cannot use the School Grounds! Why did I find that amusing? This sign doesn't tell me how to contact the Principal.
This playground looked new and fresh. Nobody over here. I just noticed the sign calls this School Grounds. How do I call the Principal? Is that why nobody is here?
The ground was made with tiny rocks that must have settled in a way that left trails when moved-over. So I drew a smile in the dirt. It was tricky to step over and just leave the smile, but it came out okay.
Is this a new game requiring four squares? There's a lot of them, it must be popular.
Do those clouds look a little like a pony?! It's Minty... the cloud!
This was an Elementary School. I laughed at the massive digital clock at the entrance. Gotta teach those kids to be on time! You can tell I took this picture in the summer because it's 5:43, and it's still bright and sunny.
I like to see what they picked as a mascot. Looks like an Eagle. Eagles are cool.
Ah. 87 degrees. This sign was flashing a lot of different messages, I had to wait a while to catch the temperature again. Also, this has got to be the best Fire District. It says they are Number 1!
I've taken a picture of this cool church school place before, but it's been a while since I've been over in this direction. Looks like it could be in Princeton, but it's not.
SHEEP! Cute! If you zoom in, you can see one of them got out, it's over on that hill over there, past the fenced area. Should I tell somebody? Who?
Another spot I always get pictures at. I wonder if they have to replace that concrete after a while. Sure it's tough, but that's a lot of churning water, all the time!
Is that a "V" or a "Y"? Ynde? Vnde? That might not be a "D", either. Sorry I can't read your graffiti.
Some more scribbles over here.
Haha. The Crime Watch sign has been bent. Is bending signs a crime?
Hurray! This area of Princeton is finally done with construction. This whole field was fenced off for a long time. You could peek through that barrier and saw they dug underground, and put all kinds of tunnels and stuff under there. But now, it looks just like a plain old field! Hidden base!
Did the wind blow all those chairs? Who's job is it to make the chairs nice?
A funny scene with that lone chair over there. Sit in it and give a speech to nobody.
Looooong corridor! I was half-way through before I thought to get a picture of it.
What crazy nature. How did that branch dip down, and then grow in the same direction as before? Those angles seem un-natural, but that's a real branch.
Bounce House! Something was going on in the big field the city always does things in.
There were cops setting up barriers to direct parking, and one of them told me it was a concert night. Some Disney song cover band called The Little Mermen. I kinda wanted to stay and listen, to at least a couple songs, but it was so late and I had already been out for a while.
You're like the Community Bike Ride. Leaving at 7PM? Kinda late, you think?
The photo isn't the best, with the reflection, but the lake was oddly clear that day, and you could see fish swimming in it! If I could point for you. See? Right there? And there? You can see the fish!
BUNNY! That's all.
Sigh. I'm on this rocky trail. Right over there, on the golf course, is a nice smooth paved walkway. Right over there! But... MONEY! You stay on the rocks, peasant! The paved trail is only for the people with the money. So here we are. On the rocky trail. There's nobody over there right now, you think they would mind?
There's a picnic area next to the golf course, I think you have to pay to reserve it for events. I guess that's okay. It's different from the ridiculous trail thing.
Whole Foods! If you knew where I was, and where I started from, you look at this picture and say "wow! you rode your bike all the way over there!"
Somebody has this cute little statue next to their driveway. Imagine being greeted by this guy whenever you got home.
Another fun picture. I was telling a story to my friend about how this one house had a massive overgrown front yard, in order to "hide" the obvious weed smoking odors in the house behind it. Now that weed smoking is legal, the house still has the crazy yard.
I think these flowers are in Animal Crossing, but I forgot what they were called. The game teaches you about flowers.
Stretch! That's what we named the rabbit that we caught hanging outside our window daily. The first time we saw it, it was super stretched-out relaxing like a champ. It was neat having a sort-of pet for a week or two. I managed to get a picture after I realized it kept coming back.
We were sad when it seemed like Stretch stopped coming back, and wondered if it was okay. A few days later, Stretch was back! And... Another rabbit?! Good for you, Stretch! You got a friend!
