Summer Bikerides

Hi everypony! We went for a bike ride and got a couple of pictures out of it. Okay I guess there's exercise or something, too...

It doesn't quite look like it from this picture, but this flock of geese (geeses?) was extra big. Almost scary-goose apocalypse-big. They were nice and moved out of the way. (creepily slow...)

We came across this obsticle course thing. Looks kinda like you climb to the top and then across the rope bridges. I hope they put up nets before ponies go up there!

Completely empty football field at a High School. According to the various signage, this mascot is a Northern Knight. We rode a few laps around it.

Here's a fountain near the Library. It was 94ยบ outside and we wanted to jump in! Instead we threw in a penny and made a wish. No, I can't tell you what the wish was, then it won't come true!? That's how it works, right?

Mall Sightings

Out at Garden State Plaza shopping mall and saw a few oddities we HAD to get pictures of to share with all of my little ponies who read this. So for the both of you... enjoy! (haha I hope there are more than a couple ponies who read this!)

Somepony who works at a mall knows what an Ejector Pit is, but we can all imagine something much more fun from a locked door with that label on it. Don't be bad little ponies or else you get put in... The Ejector Pit!

This rediculously small escalator was too funny not to get a picture of. Why not just put in a ramp? (I'm in this picture somewhere can you spot me?)

Now this Titanic tea bag holder crosses a line. Kinda inappropriate you think? We didn't take a picture because we thought the Teatanic reference was funny; what's funny is that somepony else THOUGHT this was a good idea. Manatea was much better, and not included in this photo was a dinosuar called Tea Rex.)

Bonus Picture: SUPER MOON! When did this become "a thing?" But that night was the-moon-is closest-to-the-Earth night so we went out and grabbed a picture. The way it's advertised you'd think it would fill the sky but it looked pretty much the same to us...

Six Flags Great Adventure!

We went to the biggest theme park on the planet! Or at least the biggest at the time this was written? Since you may read this in the future or something. Anyway go check out some pictures!

This is El Toro, probably our favorite ride in the park. It's hard to explain but there's a part of the ride where it kicks you back and forth like a wild bull, it's lots of fun. Click on the "Read more" for some more theme park fun-ness!

What has Minty been up to?

Hi my little ponies! It's been a couple of weeks since I posted anything so I thought I'd put up a few pictures of just some random stuff I've been up to?

We know somepony who likes to collect baskets, and came across this giant basket public art-thing in White Plains, NY. Once you find me in the picture you'll realize just how big it is. Looks like there would have been lights around it if we could have waited until night time?

I saw Iron Man 3. It was the 3rd week it had been out, and look at this crowd! Okay about 5 more people showed up before it started but I guess the lesson here is that if you don't like packed theatres and can wait a few weeks... But sometimes you don't want things spoiled and maybe "crowd reactions" add to the experience... anyway we managed to stay away from spoilers and it was a pretty good movie.

Got a chance to visit Nintendo World, the Nintendo shop in New York City. There is a small display-museum section of the store and that day they had a bunch of Nintendo-themed Lego creations. I jumped around to try and find hidden Lego bricks around the display but no luck, I guess they were all under the glass?

These stone sculptures were around Rockefeller Center I didn't really do any researching to find out what they were for, but we took a picture of it! Maybe you can't see it from this angle but this thing is like 20 feet tall.

Here I am enjoying some 7-11 nachos. Sometimes you just gotta enjoy treating yourself to something tasty, right? Of course don't overdo it, snack responsibly everypony! Oh wow I like looking at this picture it reminds me of how tasty nachos are! Gotta keep it together... can't run out and get more nachos...

Minty Went to Princeton

Now I can tell everypony that I went to Princeton! What? No I didn't go there like, to school. but we went to visit. It's a very pretty college and very expensive to go to. Well, expensive to go... to school there. We just walked around for free!
Here's a random shot of an old building. The buildings are old but notice the modern air conditioning units in the windows! Click on the "Read more" for some more pictures!

Trees Growing Through Stuff

Post title says it all. We found enough pictures of trees growing through stuff to make a post out of, so um, hope you find it interesting?
This metal barrier looks like it's being gobbled up by the tree. I don't think trees have teeth but this tree would have lost them chewing on metal over the years. Don't chew on metal little ponies.

This tree looks like it's trying to twist around the fence. It would be neat to pose me next to a tree and get a picture of it growing around me? But I guess I don't have the patience to wait several years to get a neat picture.

This looks kinda gross as the tree grows sideways through this fence. So of course we get a picture of it haha. The tree was like "Oh sorry fence, you don't want to move? Okay I'll just grow around you then!" Get it, instead of "go" around it said "grow" around? It's a tree? Ah,... yeah. Well, until next time!

Spring Flowers

Out bike ridin' in the spring it's finally warm enough! Catching all of the flowers blooming. It's still a bit chilly but you only get a small amount of chances to get blooming flower pictures each year...

Where's Minty in this picture? Okay I'm not hiding too well but yeah there's a bunch of flowers around me so it might take a little effort to find me. Click on the "Read more" for a couple more pictures we took!
