Cold Day of Baseball

Hey everypony! Here we are at Citi Field, home stadium of the New York Mets baseball team!
Isn't it cool going to these big stadiums? If you haven't been to any I highly recommend it, they are very impressive and usually have fun things going on inside them! Like the baseball game today. Click on the "Read more" to see some pictures we took!

Here's what the baseball winning trophy looks like. Not for today's game, you have to win the whole year's season to get this thing! The Mets won this in 1969 it was some kind of miracle?

This weird thing was in the gift shop. It's a pretzel I guess? You are supposed to cuddle this, not eat it.

Here's our view of the field. We were up pretty high but still not too bad. Quite a change from the Hockey game we recently went to.

On the big screen is Cuppy, the Dunkin Donuts mascot. He was the real hero of the game. You see we heard the weather was going to be "good" so we dressed very lightly. Instead it was COLD with a strong freezing breeze. Cuppy saved us by providing several cups of hot chocolate.

The Mets just hit a homerun! The scoreboard shows they are loosing to the Florida Marlins right now, but they eventually came back to win this game!

They were giving away these mini, or in my case giant, foam fingers. We would have taken a picture at the stadium but the wind was too strong and this would have surely blown away.
