Concert day! Here we are at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. On a particularly "Good Friday" to see... dramatic pause.... Taylor Swift!
Check out the buildings reflecting off the glass. This place seats about 13,000 ponies and was sold out tonight. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to include music or video into this blog, but for now, click on the "Read More" to check out some concert pictures and maybe play some Taylor Swift music yourself?
Here's the merchandising plaza. All kinds of t-shirts, posters, and other stuff. Notice the New Jersey Devils hockey pictures everywhere. Taylor Swift was not playing hockey she was here to sing!
On display were various outfits from music videos and public appearances. Is it the dress that makes her pretty or is it her that makes the dress pretty?
Why were they not selling nachos? Here's a perfectly good nacho stand NOT being used. I would have had some nachos!
Here's a picture of the main stage. It was the "RED" Tour, so many of the fans were wearing the color red. Red is the title of a popular song of hers, based on what colors she associates feelings with. I wonder what her minty-green feeling is?
MAXIMUM-ZOOM! There was a small stage in the back, and our camera got a kinda-decent picture when she was over there. I'm the giant blur on the left, in case you couldn't recognize me.
Here's the concert clearing out. Lots of so-happy-you-cry songs, she is very talented. She must be exhausted "feeling" so much every performance. But it looks like she has a lot of fun, too.
