Huzzah! Trip to the Renaissance Faire! I was happy to be able to tag along and get some pictures!
This Place was way bigger than I thought it would be. Like a whole amusement park filled with cool stuff. Click on the "Read more" to check it out?!
Here's the Map. They had pocket-sized ones so you wouldn't get lost. Even with the map, we got lost a few times.
Jousting! When the event was going on, we were too far away to get any really good pictures but imagine galloping horses and wooden lances shattering behind me?
Knife throwing! There was also star and axe throwing. The archery line was insane long. We got one knife (out of three) to stick on the wall so I guess that qualifies us as "Champion?" The sticker says so!
Wooden Swords! Wait a second, is that an Energy Sword from Halo? And that looks like a Final Fantasy sword? Who cares if it's historically accurate those things were neat!
Throw rotten tomatoes at a guy insulting you? Medieval indeed!
I didn't feel safe at all taking this picture but we took it, so I'm gunna post it! Our apologies to the turtle here who didn't really seem to mind...
There was all kinds of unique merchandising booths. These dragon things had fluffy muppet-feathers.
