Toy Fair 2018 Wandering part 1

Here's the first bunch of toy pictures from the 2018 New York Toy Fair! This year I decided not to group them together into themes so much, it will be more like the path we walked through and a little random. Hopefully you'll see some fun stuff you like.

The anticipation! Does everypony take a picture of the sign? Or does nopony take a picture of the sign? We took a picture of the sign! Again.

Okay click on the "Read more" below to see some TOYZZZZ!

The big things "outside" the fair in the building like this car with a disc in the front? I'd hate to park that thing in the city.

With our "red" exihbitor badge this year, we thought a lot of the fair would be just walking past stuff on the carpet in the middle. But our promo-coins and "we do a photo blog" intro gave us pretty much the same fun time we would have had anyway.

After we dropped off our coat we found our way over to the Good Smile booth, this time on the upper floor, to check out the newest Nendoroid figures. This box was empty and Rapunzel was nowhere to be found, but hey the box looked cool! At least they had the box?

My friend said Wonder Woman was cute, but I don't think he meant this kind of cute. Though this IS pretty cute.

Here's some Overwatch Nendoroids. Have Mercy on me with all the cute!

I have a friend who would probably like the Ariel Nendoroid but I'm having trouble thinking of an appropriate "Part of your world" line to go along with this photo.

Nendoroids are a little expensive but totally worth it. We only get the ones we really want and Tinkerbell here is one we are waiting for. Is this life-sized?

The Walking Dead is still quite popular and here are some new figures. If you want a constant reminder of sadness you can get the set with Glenn and Negan? If you want that sort of thing?

Random walking around. Saw this drone attack thing that looked pretty cool. Wonder how tough these are vs how expensive they are. If they are cheap enough I guess they could get a wrecked up.

This little cat fuzzball thing had nice colors. Why do I say that? Oh, I have the same colors?

Here we have King Kong's Fingerling. How very nice of them to make them in his size!

We saw this and thought "so gross, gotta get a picture of that!" A friend at work later saw this picture and asked how is it better than a free straw?

The booth guy saw us take the picture and convinced us to give it a "shot." No actual spit, just dipped in water. You put the wet wad in a shell and they actually shoot out pretty good. The empty shells pop out of the gun very satisfyingly. After we left we thought using toilet paper rolls was a little gross, too. They should use ripped-up notebooks like in school?

A little blurry on the picture but you can still probably make out your favorite Star Wars ship here somewhere.

Here's a bit of an out-take picture, as there are usually a few pictures that our camera takes on it's way back into the pocket. We thought this was a fun one to share since it looks like that Darth Vader over there was choking us. It finds our lack of faith disturbing.

Game of Thrones Catan? Now will you finally play this game? Says my friend to his sister. It's really a fun game you can tell because of all the variants they keep making of it!

Where did I put my lucky dice? Oh, there they are! *your actual luck may vary.

Big-animatronic-display guy was here again. Always nice seeing his work. This time the Polar Bear was talking with matching mouth movements and everything. Very..... cool.

Octopus with an eye patch? That's personality! I want to get to know that guy.

These always sound like so much fun. Anypony ever get one of these Sneaky Cards? The best one here was "Walk around holding this card in front of you. Give it to the first person who asks about it."

Giant Calico Critter? You're at a Toy Fair!

We didn't think we could get a tour through the Playmobil booth this year with a red badge so we didn't even ask, but looks like they are doing more Ghostbuster sets so we're glad they seem to be selling well enough to continue making new stuff.
