Scratching at the Door

Random picture sharing time!

Our squirrel pal Turbo here on the 4th of July as we went out to get some lunch. We stopped to give him a couple of goodies. When we went back inside to rinse off our hands, we heard him SCRATCHING ON THE DOOR! Creepy or adorable? ADORABLE! We rewarded him with more treats of course.

More magical pictures click on the "Read more" below!

We couldn't resist the marketing or cravings and had to try some of this Unicorn Magic Ice Cream. Also had Magic Shell for a double dose of Magic. Not sure if the My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic Bowl added to the Magic, but this ice cream is seriously magically tasty. Imagine candy, but like the ice cream version of that.

The night we saw the newest Jurassic World movie, we managed to find this Matchbox car and got a cool Minty-eye-in-the-window picture like from the first Jurassic Park movie. Turn the light off!

Blind bag figures from the Steamboat Mickey classic cartoon. We wanted the Pete figure and thought we had the heaviest bag. Happy to find out we were correct in our guessing.

Playing the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X game for our PS4 and we unlocked this clothing accessory.... thing? What the? This is a hat the characters wear on their heads. So um, yeah.... And I didn't make up the name either. You think they wanted to translate that or leave the English swear word in there?

Good News Everypony! They named a street after the old guy scientist from Futurama who always says "Good News Everyone!"

Pro tip: Freeze the bottle of Gatorade before you go for your bike ride. It thaws while you ride and remains cold for a lot longer. Frozen Minty is because we were just bored one night and I'm okay now it was just really hot that night.

Poor Hatsune Miku? We gotta book you some more shows so you can dance yourself back into shape. What? She is in shape? "Round" is a shape.

Magnetic Scrabble tiles for your fridge. At the bookstore in Princeton. If you didn't notice, there was no "M" to be found, we had to use an upside-down "W."

Nice to know that our bike-riding hobby is having some benefits. We're not trying to brag or jinx ourselves, just honestly pleased and trying to be a bit encouraging.

Sometimes you wish you did not wander back into the Quality Control department.

American Cornhole League Invitational Tournament? DVR that for later!

Having played a fair amount of Cornhole in various backyards, it was trilling to see professional players playing like we could only dream of. They used "cancellation scoring" where each round's score was calculated based on the difference in score rather than keeping the whole thing. Also the regulation bags had a "smooth" side and a "sticky" side.

This requires a video, but the bag in the front is in motion. It slid around that silver bag and pushed those two other bags into the hole. They were pulling moves like this all day. Another pony threw 10 bags in a row in the hole before she missed one.

This was at Coney Island after the big Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. You could almost count the number of people in the crowd. Somewhere around 65? How many ponies went to the first Superbowl?

Birthday Cake Cookie Crisp? Sure, why not?! It's not as mind-blowing as expected but it's okay.

Turbo might have some competition? This other Squirrel we're going to call "Camper" because he seems to camp-out in the same spot waiting for us. That's a Call of Duty thing. We can tell it's a different squirrel because Turbo has a distinctive scraggly tail.
