Still have a few more batches of pictures from the 2019 New York Toy Fair. It does seem like the actual fair was a while ago, but I don't think I'm a news blog, more of a sharing fun things blog. So an apology if you couldn't wait to see anything I pictured. This bunch of pictures is mostly Comic Book heroes and such.
Nendoroid Loki! Would we all love this character as much if not for Tom Hiddleston's wonderful acting in the role? The character is quite a um... character. Tom Hiddleston is just acting, right? Because he's so good you might actually think he's tricking us and really IS Loki. There's some Avengers back there, we might just be okay.
Oh no, Loki's not tricking you to click the "Read more" for more pics.
BWHOOM! There's the Nendoroid Deadpool. Another wonderfully acted role, by Ryan Reynolds. There should be separate awards for Best Actor in categories that recognize making characters awesome.
Here's an anime version of Gwenpool. She's like an alternate-reality version of Spiderman's girlfriend Gwen Stacy who got Deadpool's powers. Yeah that's sounds complicated but like anything Deadpool, you're not supposed to be very serious about it at all.
Another cute Harley Quinn and color variant. Make sure she matches your room's decor color scheme.
This Catwoman will steal your money from you, but in return you get a cool statue of her to display.
Giant He-Man statue! Could you imagine if figures were sold in this scale? Somepony should do it!
Masters of the Universe Sorceress. We've been watching the episodes of Buck Rogers with his new friend Hawk, who looks very similar.... hmm, are they connected somehow? It does seem quite easy to imagine Buck Rogers being friends with He-Man.
Is this "prison" Orko? He was fond of breaking rules; to teach kids lessons about NOT breaking rules.
Here's a cute Squirrel Girl statue. I wonder if our pal Turbo has met her? Does Turbo have any super powers? He is pretty fast...
Random character probably from Red Sonja we thought we'd get a picture of. Is it okay to take pictures of characters we don't recognize? Is it disrespectful to just appreciate good character design? She's a person, not just art.
Another Squirrel Girl. As fans of squirrels in general, it's nice to see her getting a bit of merchandise.
Okay we all know about the upside-down kiss from the Spiderman movie. Here's a spoiler of sorts for an upside-down... proposal? That's a ring he's holding but I don't remember this part of the movie.
This Harley Quinn is marked as art by Brandt Peters. Check out the base she's standing on, it's one of those puppet-strings things.
2019 Wondercon Exclusive mini Bombshell Starfire. If it's exclusive, why show it at the Toy Fair? They already bought them, and I suppose you need to go to Wondercon to get it. Is this one of the 300 figures?
Art trading cards from DC's popular "Bombshell" style. Pun intended when I say it's a little mind-blowing to realize this art style started from graffiti-like paintings on the sides of bombs that were dropped in war.
I like that those mini Bombshell figures are bronzed and not in blind-boxes, but I really think they should still paint on the eyes. The blank globes look a little weird.
This is a totally classic looking Wonder Woman statue. Like it could have really been from ancient Greek times.
We like these Cryptozoic figures. To see the preview art for a Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman figure was like toying with us. Get it? Toys?
