Hot Bag

Snow! There's a few snow pictures after a batch of plain old random nonsense. Not enough for just all snow pictures, although... it was a lot of snow! Just not a lot of pictures of it this time.

Starting off with the return of the Spicy McNuggets! They came in a bag, which was unexpected. So now you might be... expecting that? Remember to get the Mighty Hot Sauce, because that's where the real hotness game is going on.

Also unexpected, we saw some officially licensed Monster Truck Lego sets. Which is perfect for Lego, as any crushed cars can be re-built and crushed again! Why don't these come with crush-able cars? Serious Lego, you couldn't think of that?

Yikes! Is this cool, or hideous? Yeah, I guess it will be getting rid of bugs for you, but who wants to watch the plant eat bugs? Maybe just keep this outside and peek in on it if you dare.

Little birdies in the Walmart garden section outside. I tried to get a better picture but couldn't. They would fly down and perch on stuff a lot lower but every time I got the camera out they flew up high. Like they were teasing us? No... really?

Is this a trick? Do they really expect someone to buy this for somebody, and they would be happy getting this message? Maybe there are a few people out there who, very-specifically, would find this funny, instead of absolutely insulting.

Hahahaha! Poor Wonder Woman not paying attention to her merchandise. "Feel Me!"? "Soft & Warm"? They are talking about the blanket of course... What were you thinking of?

How about comfortably snuggling up on your Spiderman sheets? Hilariously inappropriate-posed character on something you sleep on.

Unicorn Sparkle ice cream has a little disclaimer that it does not contain real unicorns. Does that imply real unicorns exist? We already had some ice cream in the freezer, so we avoided the temptation of getting this, but honestly the Circus Cookie flavor sounded better. Maybe next time.

It started to snow! All day Sunday and all day Monday. It's nice to have a full excuse to be lazy for a couple of days.

On Monday, we caught a glimpse of the squirrel snacking on the picnic corn. We tried not to scare it off while opening the blinds to get a picture. It didn't seem to mind us at all. Enjoy the treat!

It looks like these tiny birds scared away the squirrel. They took a couple of pecks at the corn but I'm not sure they got any at all.

Decided to go out to check the snow. Always fun to see the little "wall" against the door when we open it. Over here it's only 4 inches deep.

Outside it looks like 7 and a half inches. It feels like it's deeper than that, but how can you argue with science?

Good thing they declared a state of emergency and closed work. We can deal with this tomorrow. There's a car under there somewhere.

The other side doesn't look so bad. Guess we can tell which way the wind was blowing.

Unlike the previous snowstorm, there are exactly NO tracks of footprints here. We got some snow just a few weeks ago, and nobody was excited to walk around today? This was late afternoon, there was plenty of time for people to get out and walk around.

When we reached the trail, which was completely un-touched, we realized our shoes had gotten a lot more wet than the last time we walked around in the snow. And our cold wet cold feet screamed "turn around and go home" so loudly we had to obey.

It's cool, pun intended; it was not long ago when we took a bunch of pictures of the snow, and this would have been just more of that. The real lesson here is to use better shoes.

Call Mr. Plow, that's his name. That name again is Mr. Plow.
Fun thing we spotted, that Salt Dogg logo is the same one as the Scoop Dogg picture we took a few weeks ago. Still a little awkward they are using two "g"s in "Dogg". If they weren't trying to use Snoop Dogg's popularity, why else would they spell dog wrong?

Here's a fun trick, use an old t-shirt as a floor mat, if you don't have one. We were trying to be clever and use some old shoes we wear while bike riding, to avoid messing up the "good" shoes in the snow. But it turns out those old shoes were a lot easier to get wet.

Later that night, we peeked out the window and saw some tracks in the snow. Rabbit, maybe? It was nice being all comfy warm inside and looking out at the snow. Did you ever stop and think... windows are neat. Right out there it's sooo cold. But not right here! Yay windows!
