Monopoly D'oh!

Ho hum, more random pictures. You can speak something like "ho hum" but when you type it, it just looks weird, right? Enjoy the pictures!

Saw this um... a week or so before the Presidential Inauguration. The Internet tells me this came out in November 2019, but at the time I saw this, I wanted to scream "AAARGH! MONOPOLY! You're NOT HELPING!" Doesn't Monopoly cause enough family arguments? Who thought this was a good idea?

If you don't remember, Baby Nut was on a Superbowl Commercial last year and was a perfect example of exploiting the Baby Yoda craze at just the right time.

Of course I had to get a picture of the eye-catching title of this book. In a more-perfect world, this book would not be needed, and might even seem a little ridiculous.

Can I just give some sympathy to all the people named "Karen" out there? I'm not sure how the term "Karen" got started, but now seems to reference an awful attitude. So sorry to all of you Karens who aren't actually "Karens" and have to deal with this thing.

Hooo doggy. Is this really cute, or really depressing? I mean, it's one thing to not actually have a "Valentine" to share the day with, but to consider your pet to be your Valentine? Sometimes the marketing just doesn't add up to what you think it would.

Another Transformer who turns into a dinosaur skeleton. They're supposed to be scared of this guy why exactly? I mean, I'm scared of him, but would another giant robot be scared of him?

Monopoly Booster Packs? Are people playing Monopoly this much? Kinda neat but also kinda odd. Two Monopoly pictures in the same post? Just a lucky roll for them.

Barbie: You Can Be Anything! While this Professional Boxer Barbie might seem "empowering" do you really want to encourage your little girl to punch brain damage into other people's heads? Yeah, I guess boxing is still a sport and all, but this just seems inappropriate somehow. To be clear; it's not because girls are doing it, it's because they are promoting boxing to kids.

This was a very awesome day when it was both sunny and raining at the same time. I got a picture showing the sun and the rain clouds.

McPOP! Figures! I'm lovin' it! Surprised to see Hamburglar since he was yoinked out of the promotions once they figured out he was popular because he stole hamburgers and encouraged kids to steal things.

Ah HA! That's why the creatures in that Star Wars movie had green milk! They were eating these Lucky Charms! Luke was feeding them limited edition magic clovers.

Do all racecar drivers get Cookie Sandwiches, or just Dale Jr.? Posting this for my friend, who shall remain anonymous.

Boom. We all know that adults enjoy Lego, but it's unexpected for it to be acknowledged like this. Also notice the age suggestion on the artwork set says "18+" which is also surprising, as that usually indicates a "motor skill or complexity level" and not a marketing target indication.

Got this picture to prove that miracles can happen. This Scuba McNugget POP! Figure was street-dated for tomorrow, but was spotted on the shelf. Can you believe they actually sold it to us? We couldn't either. But here it is. Relatively hassle-free, we didn't have to go all "Karen" on them; that's the miracle. (Sorry again to all the Karens out there, and for the record, we weren't going to do that anyway.)

While trying to simulate the Texas Roadhouse steak experience at home, we discovered this awesome Cinnamon Sugar Butter and wanted to share. Get some rolls, you will not be disappointed!

Kind of patting ourselves on the back here, but we replaced the belt on the laser machine, all by ourselves! You can see the old-and-busted belt, all worn down in several spots. New-hotness all shiny and ready to go! We don't have machine technicians on staff, so usually we'd have to call in a freelance specialist. I don't like humble-bragging, but hey, we gotta take pictures of stuff to share, so I'm sharing!

People are always getting pictures of the first McRib of the "season" but never the last one. They never seem to tell you when they are going away, and usually it's always a sad thing when you want one and they tell you they don't have them anymore. We're used to that expectaion by now, but anyway... here's the last McRib we're having for a while.

Scored a few of these Lego sets on clearance at a Walmart for $2.50 each! That's less than the price of one single mystery figure pack, and this is like, a whole set! Sometimes I wonder why we pick up stuff like this on clearance, but hey,... that price! Who else can relate to that? Everybody?

Also got a few of these random Care Bears on clearance. They come with actually-metal coins! This one that suggested "hug a friend to cheer them up" caught my friend off-guard since he's not hugged anyone in quite a while thanks to Covid World. But for sure he'll keep the literal "Good Luck Bear" coin around, for... good luck of course.

Saw this rock outside the post office a while ago, and always forget to get a picture of it. Such a simple rogue art piece painted rock with the message "Be Kind!!" on it. Cool to see it being left alone, and it's still here to spread it's message.

Who knew that the Ecto-1 Ghostbuster car was a Transformer? Since he never transformed during the movies to help, we can assume that he IS afraid of some ghosts?

Saw this giant cyborg hand thing in the clearance section, and thought it looked neat, but passed on it. My friend thought it might be too small for his hand, and certainly too big for my tiny hooves. Looking at this picture now, we notice it only has... three fingers?

These odd fruits made us laugh because they looked like some kind of regular fruits smashed through a star-shaped Playdoh thing.
