Birthday Splurging

It was our favorite somepony's Birthday so we went out to do some fun stuff. Also got some pictures to share!

Here we are driving around Manhattan. Saw this funny sign prohibiting "unnecessary" noise. Just gotta love this city! Our shouting "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" was certainly "necessary!"

So what kind of fun stuff did we do? click on the "Read more" to check it out!

Tickets for the show A Gentelman's Guide to Love and Murder. This show was amazing. Kind of a comedy musical. One really talented guy named Jefferson Mays played like 9 different roles. Do I get more page hits if I drop some names? Hi Jefferson Mays fans!

Here's our view of the stage, front row mezzanine. Pretty good seats. It's theater etiquette not to take pictures during the performance otherwise I would have gotten pictures of the nice costumes, too.

Here is a blurry picture outside the Walter Kerr Theatre. Sometime during the show it started snowing outside.

Here's a random shot of snow in the city as we raced to our dinner reservation.

Dinner at Joanne Trattoria! For those ponies who don't know, this restaurant is ran by the family of pop superstar Lady Gaga. There's a name to get me some page hits? Hi Gaga fans!

Gaga T-shirts were available for purchase. Despite what you might imagine a restaurant run by Gaga's family would look like, it had a very simple decor with brick walls and "atmospheric" low lighting.

The Spaghetti and Meatballs only had one meatball but it was giant and mega tasty. All of our friends who were with us agreed that the food was terrific.

A personal highlight of the night for me was spotting the Pinkie Pie plushie behind the bar. Proof that there is a good chance that somepony in Gaga's family (maybe even Gaga herself!?) is a My Little Pony fan?
