Franklin Institute part 1

Ben Franklin was an all-around cool guy who was wise and curious about everything. This is the guy that discovered ELECTRICITY by flying a kite in a storm!

The Franklin Institute science museum was filled with all sorts of neat stuff, we took lots of pictures so I'll break it into a couple of posts.

Click on the "Read more" to discover some fun stuff?

This is a giant Tesla coil which generates electricity. We tried to get a picture of the big lightning bolt arcs but they were too fast for us.

Here's a big jet engine cut open so you can see the insides. All of the robots out there are like "gross!" haha.

Everypony want to make a whirli-gig? Here's how!

There were giant trains, here's a bouquet of red knobs. Looked like odd robot flowers?

The title says it all. Apparently this is one COOL suit.

An unexpected highlight of the museum, this 5.5 BILLION YEAR OLD meteor YOU CAN TOUCH. If this thing could tell stories! ...well, they'd probably be boring stories about floating through space for billions of years...
